Will Napier fire himself as OC and hire someome who is competent and allowed to run an offense without being a yes man puppet? If so why did Napier waste 2 years before realizing this? Will he finally hire a dedicated ST coach? It so why did we waste 2 years with an analyst? Will we continue this 2 OL coach nonsense? Why did it last 2 years. Even if Napier recognizes what is wrong, what has been the point of the past 2 years? I simply do not get it.
The talent alone on this team is a 7 or 8 win group of players... talent wise. And they are/were still the youngest team in the SEC. Today we took defeat from the jaws of victory... and that was all on the coaching.
Name one trick play he called that was at the right time... or that worked? Yeah, the coaches lost the game.
He also pushed back on a reporter trying to address the elephant in the room with the question about 4th quarter discipline. Like the 6th time he has pushed back on a reporter this year. I said it before, his insistence in “the process” is synonymous with don’t question me.
You have to understand the process and stick with it. Blah Blah Blah I wish one reporter in there on Monday would step up and ask "When will we start to see the process paying off by winning more games than the average Joe?"
I know it's mostly just a personality thing, but man it would be nice to see him dejected after a tough loss. We want to know you feel our (collective) pain, Coach.
I’d rather see him angry and stripping paint off the walls. Dejection is zero emotion. Football is a sport where emotion can make your team play above its talent level.
