Can we still go to a bowl ?

Why create more negativity for the program to go to a bowl game and get shellacked by a better team. Just for a couple more reps considering the bowl game will likely be early December.

No. Start evaluating the staff and make some changes and concentrate on recruiting and portal.

 

Only if not enough 6-6 teams. JMU and other programs moving up to top level also bump us. 2 this year. Unlikely to have enough slots for UF to have an available Bowl game.

 

I can not handle seeing this team coached by that coaching staff again this year. I want to enjoy Christmas time. A big no.

 

I say yes. I think there is a very, very low probability that this head coach makes it through the full 2024 season. Giving him the extra game and practices would reduce some, not all, of the “He didn’t get enough time!” discord.

I think if not everyone qualifies, they can invite some 5 win teams...or some silly crap like that. But whatever, our boys could use some practice tackling.

No. I think it’s a good idea to just let the season end since all we’ve accomplished is losing football it seems.

The only three teams to outplay us were Kentucky, Georgia and LSU. UF has turned into a team that finds ways to lose. Turnovers, failed trick plays, penalties, poor tackling, clock management issues, no OL and loads of potential is who we are now.

Napier is now officially on he hot seat for 2024 and it only gets harder. He’s got to find a way to get at least seven wins. He better find OL, OC and a special teams coach if he’s gonna have any chance at seven wins.

and after yet another loss (especially to the noles), i wish to go to my Toilet Bowl, the game to be played in my home, in front of an excited crowd of just myself...

 

I just can't see how this team would benefit from extra practice...

Don't want a bowl. Would rather the focus be on righting the program not preparing for a bowl no one cares about.

 

Just because you aren’t an “all kinds of weather” fan doesn’t mean we don’t have a bunch of fans that would love to see the kids compete. I would continue to support my school and always will. You completely missed the point. We have a very young team and the kids needs the reps.

 

We don't deserve a bowl. We need work. Lots of work.
