I couldn't hear it clearly because of the noise in my living room. I thought I heard him say something about having "mixed emotions" about being back. That was confusing. Can someone who heard it share what he meant (if he even said that)?
Probably because he hates seeing what has happened to our once great football program. I get teary just thinking about it!
He said it made him emotional (and you could see him welling up with emotion) to be back especially seeing his old teammates and the huge welcoming from the crowd and fans. No mixed emotions. He said he grew up a Gator and will always be one. It was a great interview.
No idea why they interviewed him during the game. He was wanting to watch the plays too. ESPN could have used one of their 400 commercial breaks for the interview, but no.
Ok. I thought he said something about mixed emotions because he wanted to see us competing for championships again. I guess I misheard. Man I wish he could somehow formally be part of our football program. On the payroll somehow. Recruiting, director of motivation, anything.
Glad you said that. I love Tim and what he did for us but, it’s bad enough the networks run a slew of commercials at the slightest opportunity, now we have to endure interviews while play is going on. I know the coaches must hate being interrupted to answer a couple of questions during play.
