You would think. But I put that on the player not the coach. At some point the player has to show improvement or get benched, unless there’s no one else to step in.

Good news is that with a lot of opportunity to play, we should have some good options in the portal.

Apparently, "the right track" means going on extended losing streaks to end every season.

No clue how anyone disagrees with this. I mean if the coaches don't control who plays, why do we even have one?

You’re talking about offense and we had an inexperienced QB. I’m not going to defend play calling bc it was abysmal. Our offense isn’t trick play ready and to keep calling it is asinine.

I missed the arm. I still think there was nothing they could do.

On D we had the majority of players true freshman several times. They played well. 2024 we will win these types of games. See if we can stick this recruiting class through the finish line. Lagway will be enrolled in a matter of weeks. Go Gators!!!

I wish someone would post all of our defensive stats for the year with rankings. It would be astonishing and you can see why we can’t win with an average offense. For us to win with our defense, you have to have an elite offense, savvy playcaller, and flat out score at will. (similar to what other good teams did to us)

Send our guys that break the “for cause clause” that comes with being a Gator and embarrass the program with horrible acts. Pick up others’ guys with talent that agree to follow the for cause clause.

Really thought we’d pull this one out. Rough 4th quarter.
    Go Gators.

Like I said during the game thread, i would have loved a fumble recovery in the endzone instead of that safety. it would have put us up 17-0 instead of 12-0... that's the thing about this defense: not forcing turnovers like a nice fumble here or there or a nice INT...and getting gassed because O always seems to literally die at the worst moments in the game

If he keeps dropping in the recruiting rankings he doesn’t have much left to sell.

You’re not wrong. There’s a way to constructively criticize. But in the end we’re just fans and armchair QBs.

It’s still so frustrating that we didn’t do more QB keepers around the end and instead run into 4 guys. Mertz rolls out(designed)quite a bit but I feel like I never saw Brown have plays like that called for him. 2 years in you would have to think Brown is comfortable with the playbook enough.

It was a late hit and his head bounced off the turf. It was the right call. Undisciplined play by our players. The blame is ours.

the lack of football IQ in some of our players is what's bothering me. Mistakes happen, but the lack of composure and sense of urgency, not being aware of game situation at any given instant are all aspects that Napier's teams have struggled with.

If two Noles hit Max like that, this board would melt right down. Kid was damned near decapitated.
