One more thing that I have been following for the last few years... These NFL coaching types are not developers of college talent, becasue they don't even do it in the pros... All they do is recognize those who can play in the NFL and who cannot play in the NFL.

They DO NOT DEVELOP PLAYERS... They fail in the NFL and come back to the college game to learn the future of the NFL... IOW, they add nothing to the college game nor the college players. Even high school coaches know all they need to know about technique and how to develop players to be better in football and in their positions.

Enough of that... I would get an OC... up-and-come-r, like one particular QB that is now a coach, to come in for a fresh new look as an OC... A Spurrier disciple.

The NFL game and strategy is moving towards the college game... not the other way around, and anyone that thinks this is wrong hasn't paid attention to the NFL game and how it's changes in the last 10 to 15 years.

Some won't believe me... all you have to do is compare how many QBs in the NFL run the ball right now compared to 10 or 15 years ago to see it.

Sure "statue" type QBs still exist, but they are a dying bread.

Well then, we may as well jettison the entire coaching staff and 90% of our current, returning players and every signed player for the next two years and start over.
I am afraid I don’t agree with any of your assertions in any shape or form whatsoever.

I agree. Earn the privilege to have some kind of turnover celebration token. Until you can get enough turnovers then put it in a box to collect dust.

They're supposed to have all of that coached up BEFORE the game.

    3 losing seasons in a row…3

Good news…Touchdown Terrace tickets will be 50% off next year…

Bad news…winning 5 games next year is not guaranteed

Who told him not to block anyone? Who told him to get pushed back into the QB but a guy he outweighs by 90+ pounds? That’s right. The coach told him to not block anyone.

Exactly. But you got to put the blame on the players around here more than the coaches it seems.

See the thing with changing players is that if you have nobody better then it doesn't matter.

Yes. And the players are supposed to execute what they’re coached to do.

Were you proud of the brilliant halftime adjustments? Were you proud of the neanderthalian play calling, where we telegraphed our plays, played to their strengths and our weaknesses? How we came into the game with the clearly superior quarterback, and by late 2nd quarter, had turned the tables on them, turning our confident stud into a frozen stiff, and their deer in the headlights rookie into a seasoned veteran within a single half? How we targeted our one NFL ready receiver exactly one @#$%# time all night?!?!?

23 made contact with a defenseless player and his fore arm hit him directly in the head

True, but you kind of expect the execution to improve as the season goes?

And 9 months of talking about how next year will be different, because reasons, just believe us.

And so much crushing of any non-approved opinion on this website.

I feel badly for Pearsal. He deserved to break our WR drought. Kid is talented and plays with heart.

Same old stuff in the presser. And Cardoza is horrible. I know he is on the payroll and can't be too negative, but I can't imagine what it must be like to feel like you can't ask any tough questions. Never liked him as a media personality. But that can be said for several of the folks the Gators have hired over the years in these roles. Thank goodness for Shane.
