There won't be any soul searching. There will only be CBN's process. Except that his "process" is to again see what he wants to see: that what he's doing should work. So, he'll just keep on keepin' on.

 

Ok guys, we knew this was gonna be a tough game. No shame in losing this one. It’s disappointing, but Billy HAS US ON THE RIGHT TRACK. I’m more certain of that now than ever. Remember - youngest team in college football.

Every QB run was stuffed. I like that kid and he’s a baller but any team prepared for him can shut him down at this point in his development.

 

It’s the shoe toss all over again. Year after year Gator fb players do some of the stupidest sh*t I’ve ever seen. I think Napier is too soft on these guys.

 

We should NEVER AGAIN LOOK TO THE NFL for coaches... These guys are actually "learning" from the college game... NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

It's pathetic on the job training...and we get NOTHING OUT OF IT...

 

I’m just in shock we lost to one of the most awful QBs I’ve seen in some time. How does FSU not even have a semi-competent backup?

 

But but but but the process is coming along as planned. Patience. Won't be a quick fix. Some things we can do better as coaches and players. We'll evaluate the film and see what needs to be addressed and fix it.

This team in one word... UNDISCIPLINED

 

The spitting was terrible, the hit on the QB is a bang bang play to me. QB slides late, really hard to switch from "take down the ball carrier" to "miss the sliding ball carrier." Sure, it's going to be called, but I can't be too mad at it.

 

Based on what exactly? I'm not going to come out here and say he isn't going to make it as the coach. I think that is still TBD and the response this off-season goes a long way in determining that, but what did you see this season that tells you we are on the right track?

 

Tbh I always find it funny when fans say players like this should go to the portal then turn around and say how the portal has players we can use to compete in the SEC. It's mostly players that can't hack it and/or have discipline issues. Will you sometimes get lucky? Sure, but recruiting and then coaching the recruits is how you build a team.

 

The good guy approach hasn't worked in the SEC (as it relates to championships). Will Billy be the first? We'll see.

To BN's credit, I would say he does play to win with all the 4th downs he goes for. I just think he is downright bad as play caller. No feel for it.

 

Do you mean including two OL coaches…just wondering.
