For the most part, the kids have played hard. They are inexperienced. Maybe there is a lack of talent in some places. They try (for the most part), but trying only gets you so far. But part of this is on the coaches. We'll see about player development come next year. We'll see about scheme come next year. We'll see if BN admits to his mistakes and fixes them. We have a lot of time to wait and see. Recruiting and portal is the only focus now (and trying to keep the good guys that we do have). PS - I hope cooler heads prevail and don't let FSU in the CFP. ACC is dismal this year. FSU is no world-beater and certainly not now without their QB. And they'll be playing a Louisville team that lost to an average KY team.
Just having 0 positives heading into off season. We all knew we wouldn’t be great but this is just a really really bad way to end the season. The only progress I saw was a better defense tonight
Coaches put players in a position to make plays, they don’t block, they don’t tackle. OL couldn’t block anyone most of the year. Tonight no exception. Not a fan of the flea flicker but any blocking might have a chance to be a big play. QP in the shotgun under pressure almost immediately all night. Mertz’s experience would have helped, but the OL cost UF tonight. Not the coaches.
On the flipside basketball looks to be a fun squad this year and then we got a top 5 baseball squad coming back.
I thought Billy got lost in the middle of the game, couldn’t decide what he wanted to do with Max. I know he feared the big mistake. His play sequence gets very predictable and easy to defend. Not his best night of the season, far from it.
1 catch for Pearsall. All that motion for nothing. OL just standing around often. Disappointed but we are who we are… ironic we honor Tebow because I’m starting to feel like the Tennesee and Miami fanbase… living in the past
you guys need to go for a walk- I have given out quite a few vacations and y'all are not learning anything about calling for firing coaches
