So tired of losing but we need a good offseason. Schedule is brutal next year but it’s brutal every year. Please off-season be good to us!
What an awful end to a damned good game against a hated rival and a top ranked team. I hope our recruits realize they can make a difference here and commit to the good guys. FWIW: We're not that far off from beating the best out there! Just a footnote: I'd love to see Napier get really pissed off, just once, and chew players out for doing dumb stuff. Poor choices pretty much lost this one. You got a bit of an idea what Armstrongs "D" can look like too. It's great to-be a Florida Gator I bow in reverence. Go Gators.
Really tells you where the program is, that we hope a win over us is poor enough to knock another team out of the playoffs. Just sit and consider that for a minute, so depressing.
Rough season. So many things where a play or two radically changes things. Hope Billy can get enough OL help this offseason because the schedule will be brutal but fair or not he's got to get more Ws on the board.
Absent penalties, the D played well. Even though he missed a few tackles, Wingo had a pretty sold game making calls. On one TD, D wasn’t set, late from sidelines? O?
I loathe FSU and commend the kids for playing hard all season. They had no quit, unlike some of the posters on here. Go Gators! On to 2024.
Lol. I didn’t expect a W. but I think Napier lost a chunk of the fan base this season. I hope he holds on the that recruiting class. He just got passed by FSU which isn’t good IMO. Especially having a losing record against all our rivals. I don’t think he’s going to impress anyone with any staff changes if that happens. Excuses start running out next season.
Defense played pretty good tonight outside of a few selfish stupid plays. Too bad the offense was not able to reward them for their effort.
I'm officially tired of the "we played the other team close, but just couldn't overcome" crap. Every week it's something different...a special teams blunder, clock mismanagement, a head-scratching trick play call when we have all the momentum...ALL stuff that the coaches fully control. I really, really, really hope Billy is the long-term solution here, but let's just say I am not very confident right now.
That was a fun first half. Felt like it was going to be a blowout. Loved seeing Armstrong and the whole defense fired up.
