After watching every game this season, if UF doesn't have at least a winning season next year I want to see Napier and the whole coaching staff gone. I've come to realize that this season isn't on the players, it's on the coaches. Too many bad play calls, bad game and clock management and too many instances of lack of effort and motivation. It's on the coaches, not the players.

Sorry to say there are a few players on our Oline and DLine that shouldn’t be at UF. Couple coaches too. Napier has some serious soul searching to do this offseason, which starts now.

 

Billy is a low iq individual. That trick play call was insane against a pass rush they hadn't stopped all night.

 

Spurrier or UM would’ve definitely mustered up 8-9 wins out of this crew. I know that’s not a fair comparison, but shows the coaching disparity.

 

I am starting to believe that great recruiting, if it sticks, cannot overcome the terrible gameday decisions.

Had the lead going into the 4th. All we needed was to win the 4th. Easier said than done. Gators ran out of gas. I hope next year turns out better.

I’m almost afraid to watch his post game presser. How many times is he going to mention the process? For fans it’s the process of losing consistently.

 

I'm a pretty patient guy, but there must be significant on field improvement next year or we need to move on.

I agree. THere's a great recruiting class coming in. (Supposedly, but who the hell knows). So Napier had better have a good season next year. I don't think he deserves to be fired now. Just like the NFL, teams that fire coaches after 2 years tend to always be bad. But this is Florida, and 2 straight losing seasons is not good. And yes, 3 straight losing seasons is a fireable offense, IMO...

 

Disappointing end to our 2023 season.
