Boy how dumb must Auburn feel. They use their last timeout to set up the final defense. They rushed 3, but one of the rushers stayed back as a spy. At that point spying is pointless, if Milroe runs you've succeeded, so you've wasted a defender. I hate rushing 3, either rush 2 (you've already conceded you're not getting to the QB) or rush 4/5 and try to force an early throw. And then, why does the DB have his back to the QB?

 

All they had to do was rush more than 2 people and Milroe would have ran 5 yards past the line of scrimmage and attempted the throw.

 

LMFAO! So... it's hilariously obvious that Auburn's DC never watched us play Missouri. Who in their right mind rushes 2 players on a 4th and goal from 20+ yards out? Auburn went double dumbazz on that play...

It is crazy that nfl teams put as much stock as they do in combines vs watching players play football. They develop the physical freaks into exceptional players sometimes but you can usually tell that Lawrence Taylor is kinda good at tackling people in highschool.
