I hope you're right that FSU is not physical. I got us winning tonight but only because no Jordan Travis. I hope they miss a lot of tackles and get crushed in the trenches.

 

FSU 33 - UF 24. We need more depth on defense. Our lack of ability to stop the run and get pressure on the FSU backup QB will prove to be a problem.

 

We went to Tally last year with one of the worst teams weve had in a long time last year and were significantly more physical with them. Unfortunately Travis had 2-3 plays that he somehow converted which if he didn't would have gave us the win. They were extremely confident of a blowout and in the end got very very lucky to escape with a win. Also AR looked half invested in the game last year. Im not saying we win nor am I saying were the better team but they have played two years of bottom dwellers minus LSU. I still say the ACC gives them the 12th 13th and 14th man on the field today but we aren't going down without a fight.

 

the definition of steamrolled is Jayden Daniels playing our defense. I didn't see anything like that today out of Louisville.

 

I was referring to the stats. Louisville out-passed Kentucky, and out-rushed them 2 to 1. Kentucky won because of three Louisville turnovers and had 0 flags thrown on them.

Kentucky was definitely physical against us, but that's against our defense, the worst Gator defense in my lifetime. That doesn't mean Kentucky is overall a physical team. They are not. And the season-long stats prove it.

 

UK is a physical team, against opponents that play like crap. Anyone worth a damn doesn't have a problem. Hence why Stoops still only has, what was it, 2 wins vs SEC teams above .500 in conference.

Hmmm Kentucky just beat 2 from the all sissy league. Go figure.

 

Originally I predicted 27-21, Gators. I saw the weather report and field conditions and now have it at 21-20, Gators.

 

Doesn't rain usually lessen the difference in a team's talent edge? I would think it would help us.

 

The Cats just beat the 2nd best or best team in the ACC...and they have what like 6 losses in the SEC. We pushed around FSU last year in Tally pretty thoroughly and just forgot to tackle Travis 3 times.

 

You would think so, but ever since Tebow left all I have noticed is the Gators playing sloppy on wet fields—especially in Tallahassee. Maybe they will have the correct cleats for the home game.
