I like Klatsky. Maybe he can play the 5 if he wears DeSantis’ boots.

Speaking of bigs when do we expect our consonant-riddled German Assassin Szymczyk back?

As long as your guards are physical enough you can play small.

The last player that I can think of that could play 1 thru 5 was Magic Johnson. And he did have to play the 5 in a huge game.

Didn’t he score 43 points in that game?

You guys are talking about some GREAT ball players. If Noah could shoot from the outside he could do it. He did have some dribbling and passing skills.

I don't think that Walton had the dribbling skills but he could pass and score inside and outside.

Skinny Miller could play 1-4, but not the 5.

They replayed the Samuel play over and over, and the tv announcers still somehow never saw the Pitt player lock Samuels wrist between his arm and his body and drag Samuel forward. There was a great view of it on the replay. It goes in the "WTF are they looking at" category!

Yeah, Samuel initially put his arm around the Pitt player as he moved behind him to set a back screen, but Samuel dropped that arm (or tried to) pretty quickly as the Pitt player tried to go around him. That initial contact could have been called on Samuel as a bit of a ticky-tack foul, but the Pitt player's arm lock was much more egregious once the play progressed to that point.

I can understand the announcers missing it the first time. How can you play it over and over again and not see it?

I’ll add Scottie Pippen to your list. One of the most physically gifted athletes ever in his prime and overshadowed by the GOAT.

Regarding Mr. Handlogten's ankle health... after today's game the quality of the next several opponents until Dec. 19 when The Gators play Michigan is such that he could sit a while without jeopardising the win/loss record. 25 days.

I'm sure longtime Gator Basketball trainer, Duke Werner will be happy to read everyone's ankle experiences and medical advice so I'll throw mine in, as well.

How long does it take to heal a ....bad.... ankle sprain? Somewhere between one year and never.

Depends on one’s pain tolerance and mental toughness. Considering his reaction I’d say his tolerance is pretty low. I played as a big with a high ankle sprain for a few months and it was miserable to be honest. Having to constantly be aware of it so you don’t re-aggravate it really lowered my play. The risk vs reward might play a factor into the decision. They might have him warm up and only if we’re in foul trouble in a tight game you might see him play. Wouldn’t expect to see him for an extended period.
