    We have played real competition, however, Pitt has been very efficient metric wise per Torvik, which in recent games has us as 23rd and them at 11th in nation overall. Two very efficient offenses going head to head, but they are about 50 spots higher in defensive efficiency. The take home is that even though they have played cupcakes, they have destroyed them like a top team would/should.

    Great win for the Gators and an interesting game. Pitt outrebounded the Gators by 8 (SoG), but we outshot them and had a run in the second half that they couldn't overcome. Several strong performances, including Clayton Jr. who scored 28 and had 5 rebounds. MVG, though, was Samuel who was monstrous. 20 pts/10rbnds/3asst/3stl/3blcks. Samuel shot 9 for 11 from the field.
