Rivalry week is here!!! As I said in the Week 12 thread, I'm out of town for the holiday and won't be on GC, so I'm putting week 13 out early. It's a lot harder to pick games before Tuesdays, because that's when the solid lines come out. That being said, this week should contain a few games that I would think would be "locks", lol. Due to the holidays, there are quite a few games being played on Friday and I want to get some of those in here. So.... ***Please note that the deadline for this week is Friday at 12:00 noon!!! Bro, I swear my method to this is odd. I'll just stare at the lineup until one pops out to me with a feeling of confidence then I'll do it again till I got 5 then I order based on how good I feel about each pick. Then I'll go back and peek and previous games results/ records to reassure myswlf of my picks .. 85% I would say is all gut feeling.

Florida State Oregon Clemson Tulane Purdue Yes, I'm hedging my emotions. If we lose on Saturday, and don't make a bowl, and end up with a losing season, and, and, and... At least I'll have 5 points in this insignificant contest. I'm heading out of town for Thanksgiving tomorrow morning, so I won't be on for a few days to hear all of the "Boo's" for picking the stinking noles. Just so you know though, my whole family on my Mom's side (the side I'm visiting for the holiday) are almost all noles. So yeah, I get to hang out with about a dozen noles for the next three days... I'll make sure to shower before I log back in on Friday! Everyone have a happy and safe Thanksgiving! GO GATORS!!!
I know why you did this... You want to be happy if we win or if we lose, becasue you can have it both ways with that bet. Happy that we win the game even if you lose points. Happy (weirdly... sort of, I guess) if we lose becasue you win the bet.
Ok Wanne, you made me feel bad: even though I have a rule never bet on the team I love. Last time I did was 1982. I bet $50.00 I didn’t have to bet. Three kids, 2 in diapers, working 2 jobs to make ends meet, and I was just sure we would win. 44-0 and we haven’t stopped Hershel Walker yet. My lovely wife was pissed but, 41 years later we are still married and I have not bet on my beloved Gators or anyone else for that matter, since. But this isn’t for money so.. I changed my picks.
Lol... I can't think of any reason why to pick against the Gators, especially when you have other teams/games from which to choose.
