The announcers and stats said it was Marshall, but I think for the first time, Tre Wilson returned a couple of kickoffs.

Tre took two kick offs back, but it's been Marshall back there most of the year.

I'd really like to see Tre on punt returns his quickness would be tough in the open field.

On the plus side: ST are not losing games for us lately. Kicking and punting are fine. And we’re actually getting some nice punt returns.

Notice that it didn't take long for Saban to make a change, replacing "Kool-Aid" because his first punt return was one he should have returned but chose to fair catch and then the 2nd should have gotten out of the way but instead fielded it and then fumbled it. I love Pearsall as a receiver and a runner, but he's way too tentative on punt returns. Pearsall's best games were against Charlotte, Vandy and Arkansas, where he amassed 130 of his 151 yards. Keep in mind statistics only tracks punts returned, not fair caught or kicked out-of-bounds. Yet, of the 46 punts opponents kicked this year, Ricky has returned just 14 for a total of 151 yards. The bright spot is he never fumbles so maybe Napier is just being conservative instead of using a 3rd phase of the game as a way to score points.
