No, just the opposite. Plenty of video of violence. the defendants were identified by video committing violence. that they may have had moments when they weren't throwing fire extinguishers or beating cops with flag poles, or pepper spraying security is irrelevant.

 

This is cultish and getting more weird and creepy as time goes on. That said, for example, I have never supported throwing the book at non violent protesters who entered later. Have to take the defendants on a case by case basis.

 

Video of a person or persons not committing crime at point X, is in no way exculpatory if they were on video committing a crime at point Y.

I’m rather amazed this has to be explained.

 

For the most part that’s how it has worked. Everyone that merely trespassed got mere weeks/months in jail with many avoiding jail time.

Those who committed violence got more time (maybe a year, with the serious offenders and conspirators getting the worst). I’ve posed this question. Which individual was charged for a crime they didn’t commit or received an unjust sentence? Gets crickets every time.
