Douglas was getting open consistently before his injury, but Mertz was in dunk mode early in the year. Napier has raved about him. Don't sell Douglas short.

Just look what Mertz and Pearsall did for themselves when they transferred.

We should be the #1 destination for talented transfers.

Always was going to RS this year to get size and strength. Harris was the only true frosh ready.

    Agree!

Douglas will be another WR we will be happy to get back.

Burke needs to step up or take his game to Pitt with Reynolds. He was ranked two spots below Harrison (Ohio State) and has done nothing.

The freshman we have coming in will be great additions but none will start. Hopefully they can all come in and get 15 catches each next year. That will change if we get Smith.

I wish our boosters would pay some NIL money to the KY transfer OT that left the team because his mom had cancer. Let him come back when he is ready.

Not gonna lie, K. Jackson has made some of the sweetest catches I've seen all year. Dude got some HANDS!!!. Can't believe he was a walk on

Add Torrence to that list for last year, and Montrell Johnson. Proved he can run with the SEC.

He’s solid and makes some great catches. He’s a true #3 receiver.

I think he is a good possession receiver that can make tough catches. I don't see a lot of straight line speed there, however.

He's faster than people think. He's a 4.5 which is plenty fast.

Yeah it was strange how the offense got better after he left. I don't understand it myself. I'm guessing right now Douglas, Wilson, and Jean would be the starters next year. Jean has shown flashes but has also been hurt most of the year.

A speaking of Douglas, what was his injury again, high ankle sprain? Why isn't he back at all yet, it's been 8 weeks it feels like.

Either way he's been impressive imo, still can't believe he was a walk on.

Agreed, he probably should have been offered a scholarship, but of course, you know who was in charge of recruiting back then and not doing it very well.

I just don't prioritize WR for the portal. You can plug in young guys at the position and they can be very successful, see Wilson. It is significantly more difficult to do that on the LOS and LB.

I would argue the WR room was in much worse shape at that time. Either way, I'm not saying we don't take a quality WR if available, I just don't prioritize it (NIL money).

    I'm just fine with a Wilson/Douglas 1&2.

WR is a position of strength immediately
