After FSU's QB went down that other guy looked like freaking Georgia's QB. While I'd like to think we can beat FSU at home, I'll temper my optimism with another day of deep contemplation. (The cat is still hiding from last night's game) I'll need another day to process the colonoscopy sans the Propofol at Mizzou. Heal up Gators. FSU at home! Note to the Gator fan base attending the game. If you can talk four or five days after the game you didn't do your job! Beat the noles. Go Gators.
I want someone to knock off Georgia too but I don't see it happening. Alabama may but they will still get in to the playoff. Don't think Bama can beat them twice and don't see anyone else beating them. Hate to say it but I see a threepeat.
We’re going to lose by 21+ points. They will run up 600 yards of offense. Etienne will rip off an awesome run at some point and Pearsall will make a great catch and the game will still be over in the 3rd quarter
Brown hasn't had a lot of reps so I could see how they might be reluctant to have him pass. But give him a week of practice and he'll be slinging the ball left and right behind the line of scrimmage in no time.
This time it is different! We're bringing out our own backup QB. We shall outcurse the curse. Permission requested to apply my thinking skills to this one EE. (no cheating) 1) What team it is: North Alabama. 2) Mascot. Hmmm. Gollum got three guesses so will I. North Alabama ... North Alabama .. Space Rockets Barons Argile Rouge Spoiler (from my alcoholism I know Argile Rouge translates to Red Clay) 3) Championship caliber player. I saw a highlight of some guy zigzagging all over the FSU D. So Yung Joka is the obvious answer there. (If the team is indeed named the Barons, they also have Michael Jordan.) Do I win a Go Gators?
FSU using their second string QB. Night game in the swamp. Lord, what i would give for a dominate pass rush..
Keeping in mind that the opponent was North Alabama, a team that gave up 48 points to Campbell and 61 points to Montana.
Glad to see @tommyvee is ok today. Took a lot of courage and conviction in the game thread (and I’m guessing alcohol) to put yourself out there like that. Lesser men have wilted.
We're bad but not nearly that bad. While our defense sucks we did manage to hold McNeese State and Charlotte to one touchdown each, both of which are the equivalent of the multiple teams that torched North Alabama for six touchdowns or more.
We will hopefully at least rush four down linemen every play and blitz 33% of the time. Quit giving every team we play, all the time in the world to operate!
If we run the ball like I know, we can run the ball and like we’ve seen the last two games we’ve got a great shot. I respect Shane Matthews a great deal and he has thought all year. We should be throwing the ball a ton. Unfortunately, he’s wrong not that Graham isn’t awesome. It’s just that we need to run the ball, where our opponent down, and keep our defense on the sideline. The last two games have shown that hopefully, Billy will come out and use Max Brown’s legs as a Threat, which will open up everything for ETN and Johnson.
Doesn’t that make you crazy? I have no idea why on fourth and 17 we were bringing three. Let our corners be and play aggressive like we did the entire game until the end and bring an extra guy. If Armstrong gives Rodemaker time in the pocket we lose. If he decides to be aggressive, and we actually get pressure on him, we’ve got a great shot to win.
Yes, but Jordan Travis knew last year we couldn’t tackle him and probably couldn’t tackle him again this year so his ability to run and escape was going to be huge. Now the question is, will Armstrong actually pressure the guy that has barely played or will he let him be comfortable in the pocket?
