Oh, don’t get me wrong. I wasn’t saying the Gators would collapse SWAC. That’s just one of only two things I have left as motivation to keep watching CFB this season. And I really don’t care who knocks off Georgia (except SWAC, of course) so long as it happens.
Ill give you a "Go Gators" if you can name the mascot of the team they just hung 55 on...extra credit if you even know what team it was and can name where their home field is without looking. Can you name one player on that BCS championship caliber teams roster...just one? This wasn't the Tigers at Red Stick...they were an FCS team. So to answer those questions since I know you cant. 1.) No you cant name their mascot but who cares...neither can anyone else. 2.) Maybe you get lucky with the teams name but they probably dont even have a home stadium (like the Canes)...they probably play at a local high school field. 3.) No you cant name any player..nor can anyone else...but I think I just saw Andre Debose on their sidelines stretching.
North Alabama is one of the worst teams in the UAC. Barring any BS from the ACC refs, we should be in position to win this game at home.

Agree. Just wondering why that hasn’t been the official word already. We have released Mertz’ injury that was one we could have kept quiet and possibly kept our opponents guessing. It was obvious that their guy ain’t comin’ back any time soon.

That’s a serious question as when we pressured Brady Cook he was not accurate. Will AA challenge Marshall and guys and make sure they understand Coleman and Wilson cannot beat us. Will AA coach up defense enough that we can truly stop the run. Scooby, Barber playing? Honestly with the grit and toughness I saw from Slaughter, Waites, and Hudson I’m not so sure they shouldn’t be starting anyway.
I was right they share their magnificent 8th wonder of the world 14,000 seat stadium with the Florence Falcons High school football team. Its well worth watching and you can see their trophy case of national championship trophies which rivals the Crimson Tides. I cant believe they pulled it together to beat such a challenging opponent.
Another Charlie Brown about to get ghosted by Lucy. How many times have we heard this from the fanbase over the years? 3 dozen, 4 dozen times? And how many times did said backup have a Heisman-worthy day against us? Almost every time. I would feel better if we had an elite defense but we have a defense that couldn't cover Georgia Southern right now. This is a defense that ranks dead last in almost every category. FSU's defense has twice the turnovers than our defense. You make it sound like Jordan was a dual threat but he really hasn't been this season. Daniels had more rushing yards against us than Travis had all season. He's been more of a pro passer this year than last year. The running game has been in the hands of the running backs in which Benson has over 700 yards and 11 TDs.
They better be better at that than we seem to be. Like Mike Tyson once said; "Everybody's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth."
