People screaming about Billys calling the last drive would be screaming about incompletions stopping the clock. He cant win. The offense was GREAT today. Once again Florida lost because of terrible defense.

He fumbled a hand off exchange…and nearly did another. But let’s let’r rip?. It was a gutsy performance from Max and I feel better about our backup …but that was a stupid take.
Every coach worth his salt would have run the ball and forced their opponent to burn their timeouts but Gator fans in misery because we didn’t get the quick three and out and give Mizzou a couple extra minutes and all their timeouts. We are certainly the brain trust of the SEC.
I have 0 issue with that call. No D-1, FBS, P5 team should lose a game because the defense failed to cover on a 4th and 17 play.
The motion penalty on Mizzou happened at exactly 1:00. Had it been one second later and there would have been a 10 second runoff.
Again at the time did not think a FG would win the game with 1:40 left with our defense. it did not. play to score a Td. we did not.
On the bright side Etienne balled out and Max Brown did okay considering he is taking second string snaps in practice. Kahleil Jackson saved that 4th down... great pass and catch on the play by Brown and Jackson respectively.
What’s crazy is I think that the backup olinemen had zero pre-snap penalties in a tough road environment. I don’t think they had a hold either
