Actually, I do not hate anyone. That would not be the Christian thing to do.

Like many people here, I was on the Mullin band wagon when he became the HBC.
We enjoyed the ride for two season.
What got me to the point was not the lack of wins nor any hate that you mistakenly accuse me of. It was the factors behind the lack of wins.
Again I list these factors. Please review and tell me if these factors are not valid:
    • The multiple seasons that had more players leave the gators than come in via the portal. The Mullen recruiting classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2012 had 44 Gators leaving the portal and 22 Gators coming in. Basically, Mullen lost a full recruiting calls to the portal.
    • The Just Cause charges that the NCAA filed on Mullen.
    • Holding on too long of the Defensive Coordinator Grantham.
    • His last season recruiting ranking of 35th.
I am willing to admit that his firing was not legit for just one single reason. His firing was called for the not just the four above listed item but for more of them that I did not list.

What does that have to do with anything I've posted? AGAIN, to restate the position: I do not think Kiffen is any better than Mullen and they are very similar coaches and personalities with almost identical resumes. That was my point, IS my point and one I've never wavered from. If it matters, I agree with all of what you say here. And I still think A&M would be taking a big risk hiring someone like Kiffen/Mullen.

I wonder if Evan Stewart sticks around… he’d be a nice portal pickup

To me it comes down to how many Oregon coaches have had some type of success over the last 10 years or so vs. How many coaches have had some kind of success at A&M. A&M has had as many 10 win seasons the last 20 or so years as Kansas has. That seems to be the first goal is to routinely get double digit wins regularly. For whatever reason Oregon has at least been fairly able to navigate it's way to a shot at glory.

Road is about to get tougher for Oregon but you have to beat ‘em all eventually anyways

Seems like Duke's Elko would be a serious candidate for the Aggie job, tho being a recent DC under Jimbo might be a negative for him.
