She was Skippy in the first two sets, but Sophia showed up in the third.

I see it more as UF has a smaller margin of error and everyone is gunning for the Gators while they can. Under these circumstances, winning any match 3-0 is impressive, even against an SEC winless bama squad. The tide got all fired up because they thought they would win a set against UF in what seems like forever.

Auburn is a better team that got to exorcise the UF butt whipping jinx this year. That won't happen in years moving forward. UF's talent level and depth will likely be the best in the nation.

CMW is taking lemons and making lemonade. That's likely the best we can hope for. I 100% agree, win and move on.

The women's college volleyball world won't be surprised when the Gators kick a$$ over the next few years. UF will be loaded for championships.

CMW and staff have done a great job recruiting the kinds of players to get to the pinnacle of women's college volleyball. Congratulations on a recruiting job well done.

Still have to execute the basic skills better, but yes, we’re sitting nice with the foundation.

Very sloppy first set and Sofia Victoria had one of her OFF sets with 13 attacks and only 2 kills -.077. But 5 services aces and 7 blocks carried the day. Need to sweep Missouri.

    UF sweeps Mizzou!

What I liked seeing in this match was more setting to Essix. She was nearly automatic.

    Keep doin' that!

Nice SEC road win for the Gators. Only hit .239, but held Missouri to .076. Martin & Victoria had subpar matches, but Fitzpatrick, Essix, Okamor and Muff were very good.

Anybody watching the UF Arkansas match on SECN? Gators dropped the first set 25-20 and are trailing 15-13 at the media TO in the 2nd. Only hitting .207. Sofia Victoria hitting .000, Kennedy Martin .158. AC Fitzpatrick leading the way so far, hitting .429.

UF takes set 2 25-21. Hanging tough. Martin got it going that set and now has 10 kills at a .280 pace. Muff with 21 assists and they have 7 service errors to our 5, both with 2 aces. A win today would be tremendous for our undermanned team.

Why on a BR attack you have everyone up to the ten ft line in coverage, leaving the back half the court uncovered is beyond me

Martin needs to learn the off speed shot. Way too much air. Top spin with a bit a snap to increase velocity gets the ball nose diving..hopefully to an open space. Pushing the ball over is just a free ball…unless strategically placed. And instead of reaching to set the block, our net players need to be quicker to the spot and penetrate the net with the block. That’s all. Hate to rag. These are skills gleaned in middle school on up, even if the growth of the players hasn’t topped out.

Lost 15-11 in the 5th. Tough loss, but this team has heart. They battle and give it their best. They just miss Alexis Stuckey sooo bad.

Kudos to Arky’s Gillen, a 5’7 OH who does everything fundamentally well, and is old school with the pronounced snap at the point of attack, creating high velocity top spin finding the floor.
