Pre-Game Discussion: FLORIDA at Missouri

a couple of naysayers you are. Forecast shows most of the game will be in the 40s, upper 30s at 11 PM. Not bad playing weather.

We can win if Missouri goes -4 on turnovers.

 

UF has recovered 4 fumbles & 3 INT’s, all season, and is currently #125 in the country, only 4 teams have less.

 

The biggest thing is the wind at those temps. A light breeze is forecast so keeping warm shouldn't be a problem.

 

I shipped a race scooter delivered to Schrader yesterday. Fingers crossed.

Hoping the D can maybe simplify and play more consistently. I wonder what the analytics say about our various line stunts and linebackers

I just ran some analytics on the last 4 year's of UF's defense and it made me pine for the good ole' Doug Dickey days

I wonder why we did so well against Tenn? Did we catch them off-guard? Seems doing something similar on defense would be a good thing.

Possibly being more aggressive on offense and not farting around with stuff that doesn't work. Seeing we can't stop anyone, except on the goal line, we should just try to score more points.

The fact that there are no gators on that list is telling.

Regardless we better put our extra warm big boy pants on Sat. because we have to stop #1 on that list. I think that as our last SEC game of the season this game W or L is critically important for the team and the program. Are we going to go into the FSU game with our tail in between our legs OR does this team begin to find itself on Sat on the frozen tundra (sorry, just wanted an excuse to say that) of Memorial Stadium. Go Gators!

I just want to see anything that will make me believe the team is headed in a good direction. The offense is respectable, but, the other two phases of the game are well, terrible. Not only are they terrible, they're getting worse as the season progresses. If we lose out and finish 5-7, I will not be looking forward to next season. They have a brutal schedule and nothing so far has inspired much hope for greatness. Anything short of hiring Charlie Strong at DC and Kerwin Bell at OC is going to be a no for me dawg. I'll still watch every second of every game with great hope, I just don't know if I'll believe in that hope.
