Let’s hold onto the guys we have and add some portal guys that can play immediately.

There running back worries me. Dudes a wrecking ball. Hell, their QB, WR, RB duo worries me TBH. I actually feel better about our chances vs FSU than Mizzou. With that being said we can absolutely play spoiler these last 2 weeks.

here’s another tough pill with these decommits, they’re coming soooo late that pivoting to other kids with a “heeeey big head, how you been doing?” text to see if there’s still any interest is almost asking to get unreturned. Now you get left where you end up offering lower rated kids and end up with Mullen specials. Billy gotta flip Evans from A&M, get Boireau back into the class (UGA didnt green light him it seems), and SIGN SOME CORNERBACKS!!

Hopefully CBN never stopped texting these kids who are committed or still looking.

For sure....the Boireau thing is interesting to me. Either UGa already has DT's committed that are better (although they took N. Johnson immediately), or they just don't think Boireau is very good. I would trust Smart's evaluation re: Defensive Tackle....of course maybe they can make any player better with the 'roid program they likely have going up there.

Seems like our NIL isn't keeping up with the big boys (once again).

    Agree.
There is Zero, Zilch, Nada that Armstrong has proven on field in player development or effectiveness.

Hopefully this is not a total blindside as everyone knows the top guys will continue to be recruited by other schools. Should have some contingency plans.

The primary contingency plan should be that if you really believe you have the top guys then you pull out all stops to keep them committed, whatever that entails, money, bennies, whatever. The old rule that it take ~ 5 times the resources to attract a new customer vs. retaining an existing one should be kept in mind.

Hard times Marine, feels like UF just heard the bugles at Chosein Reservoir.

I hope Gator Nation gets some good news from some direction soon, we need it.

That's not a contingency plan, but yes obviously it would be ideal if top prospects didn't flip away from us.

    But every day, all day?
Nothing constructive or presenting ideas/solutions ... just bitching?

I'm not built for message boards, I guess. I come to learn something not listen to whiney fans.

There is a lot of truth to this. However- you can also look at UGA D line and see how they have yet again developed beasts compared to our line who hasn’t done anything since the Zuniga/greenard line.

The next several weeks are going to test Gator Nation. I expect 3 or 4 more recruits bailing on us before the dust settles. More will bail on us than A&M. Napier is going to have to plunder the portal.

Hill and Shemar are playing great. Cam Jackson has flashed, along with the freshmen safeties. There is some…but not enough.

I do not. Should be maybe 1 more. Napier will stop the bleeding, I also expect him to recoup the losses.
