Chatter has been that UF is not recruiting Cai Bates, as Coach Raymond isn't interested. Rumors on LSU boards say their staff isn't sold on him either.

 

Sieder wanted to be an OC and avoid being known as the “recruiting coach” on the staff. Mac was willing to work with him on it. Mullen showed up and wanted to make him the TE coach (I think) which is where the “recruiting coach” normally gets placed. I think Sieder saw the writing on the wall and left for PSU.

 

PSU just fired another OC, so is Sieder the leader for that position? If I heard correctly Franklin has fired 5 OCs since he's been at PSU.

 

I have no idea.

Herbs was fresh of kicking Alabama’s ass at Utah though. Utah , not the minor leagues.

 

Uhh ..what? That game happened like 4 years after Meyer left Utah, and Utah was in the Mountain West. Definitely considered minor league at the time

 

I guess my mind has big holes in it. I obviously didn’t follow Utah before he came here.

He refused that position change and he left for Penn State.

 

And he has been stuck in Pennsylvania ever sense.
