Why are you laboring to justify an operation, the invasion of Iraq, which was based on lies beginning to end ? Compare to Putin’s actions wherein we know (and he knew) that it was the US’ prior aim to depose him and weaken his country.
I'm pretty sure we didn't invade Iraq when we liberated Kuwait. I think US Forces stopped at the border of Iraq/Kuwait.
You mean Bagdad? We rolled up to like 10 miles outside of Bagdad when we negotiated to let Saddam remain in power. Terms of surrender.
1st, "Absence of evidence is not evidence I'd absence." 2nd, even if there weren't WMD, SH still played stupid shell games with the UN for 10 years, and even continued to do so post 9/11. We were not in a frame of mind for playing games post 9/11. "Play stupid games, win stupid prises!" SH won him a prize! Now... how does any of this justify Putin targeting and destroying cultural treasures? Again....you good w Ukraine destroying the Kremlin? Bc the US promised not to. Ukraine is not bound by that promise, and we're giving them toys sufficient to the task.
The only reason we haven’t found unicorns is because we haven’t looked for them hard enough. And we’re helping Ukraine by fighting Russia to the last dead Ukrainian.
...and Russia seems to be fighting Urkaine to the last war aged Russian male, having to steal and bribe Africans and Cubans with bullshit lies, to march into the alliy supplied meat grinder, as it (Russia--the old and frail bear) clings on for dear life to that pathetic sliver of land it stole 2 years ago, blah blah, blah. Here's that pesky little question you seem hell bent on avoiding like it's glowing radio active nuclear waste: ********************************************************* HOW DO *YOU* FEEL ABOUT PUTIN TARGETING AND DESTROYING HISTORICAL CULTURAL TREASURES... ...AND ARE *YOU* OK WHEN UKRAINE TOPPLES THE KREMLIN AND OTHER RUSSIAN CULTURAL TREASURES WITH TOYS WE SUPPLY THEM WITH? *********************************************************
^^^all's fair in love in war, right DD? So that stupid colorful pastry looking POS known as 'the Kermlin', is fair game right? If UKR Topples that foolish bubbly mess, turns into a heaping pile of twisted steel rubble.... you'd be good, right? Rock solid, even? As long as Russia can hang on that that precious sliver of Ukranian soil...
As far as I can tell, the difference between, the way that we’re informed, is that I rely on Western sources that are not shot-through with prior hatred for Putin. It’s why I sniff at the notion that the U.S. bombs churches, to get to enemy troops using them as cover, whereas Putin just bombs them to be mean. I just think that’s infantile.
No, we definitely did. The entire left hook of the ground offensive went through Iraq all the way to the Euphrates.
You're one of my primary sources Bubba. I read your posts, your links, n okee's posts, and Pitts, chem's, Taipan's... ...and try to triangulation from there. eg--for all the unsettled questions such as how many Ruskies or Ukes have died, one thing remains crystallized: Russia is clinging on to a sliver pf land after almost 2 years, when the entire world world figured Russia would gobble up Ukraine within a matter of months if not weeks.
@duggers_dad ********************************* HOW DO *YOU* FEEL ABOUT PUTIN TARGETING AND DESTROYING HISTORICAL CULTURAL TREASURES... ...AND ARE *YOU* OK WHEN UKRAINE TOPPLES THE KREMLIN AND OTHER RUSSIAN CULTURAL TREASURES WITH TOYS WE SUPPLY THEM WITH? **********************************
Fishing ain't feeding. There's a hook in that bait. He sees it, and keeps avoiding it. Guess I'm trying to gig him with a baited treble hook
Russian Troops 'Bled Dry' by ATACMS Cluster Bombs: Storm-Z Instructor (msn.com) "It is cluster shells that are now knocking out a huge mass of our infantry with the layering of a number of negative factors," wrote Golikov. "The infantry suffers heavy excess losses directly on the battlefield, as a result of which the execution of combat missions is disrupted, and in addition to this there is an overstrain of evacuation logistics and an overload of the military medical infrastructure." Russian troops are returned to the front lines in Ukraine with shrapnel still stuck in their bodies, Golikov said. Newsweek has contacted Russia's Defense Ministry for comment via email. Golikov added: "The rapid depletion of infantry units, coupled with the overload of hospitals, leads to the fact that people are massively returned to the battle, primarily underrated, and often with small damaging elements in the soft tissues not removed." Golikov said that, while there are no radical shifts in the front line, and little breakthroughs from Ukraine, Russia is also having little success in the war. "And there is a price. [A] very high and sad [price]," he added. "Exhausting and bleeding the enemy on the defensive, and then collapsing the front with powerful counterattacks would be an excellent plan if implemented," Golikov said. "But in fact, along the way, we ourselves were pretty exhausted and bled dry."
Ukraine's Defence Forces shoot down Russian Su-25 near Avdiivka (msn.com) On Tuesday, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Su-25 attack aircraft. The weapon they used to hit the Russian air target is currently not specified. The spokesman of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group added that this is already the8th destroyed Russian aircraft on the Avdiivka front since the beginning of the intensification of Russian assault operations, that is, from 10 October 2023.
G8tr, I sure hope those Russian boys sent back to the front with shrapnel protruding from their epidermis are at least given a couple of quarts of vodka to ameliorate the pain.
Yeah, just wonderful when the country you are born in requires / forces one to be a shrapnel carrier for pointless aggression.
