Duffy is likely to transfer after the Spring if he doesn’t win the job. Word ia that he has not been putting in the work. Kind of disappointing because I was hoping to see a lot of Duff Man! outfits in the stands. If that happens, it will likely be one of Rodemaker (4 years in the system) or Brock Glenn. There have been a lot of good reports on Glenn. Also an outside shot that the true freshman, Kromenkoek, could compete for the job. Supposed to be super talented and the staff loves him.
Got a pretty good source up there....VERY unhappy with Duffy. Shocked if he is there next season. They are going to be an attractive option for a 1 year portal guy, think they have to bring one in given the returning room will be so raw.
I could see it. Think it depends on how the staff feels about Rodemaker and Glenn. Rodemaker has played a good bit and won some games. Glenn may need some more time. Will have to see what the options are.
.Thats not loaded. Not to saying he won't pull one from the portal but if loaded is the description capt nole gave us than we would be considered "loaded" in the QB room too if Mertz comes back. We would have a 6th year starter with a 5 star Lagway backing him up. Fsu has AJ Duffy, that rodemaker dude and an incoming freshman QB ranked a little lower than lagway. This isn't a knock on Norvell as he has filled his team with some pretty talented guys, but if I've notice one thing yet to catch up with the rest of his recruiting is his QB recruiting. With success though that too should start picking up.
Remind me who will be FSU's QB next year? Meanwhile we will have Lagway and company, while they search for a less than QB.
And you don't know if FSU gets Smith... but that's not what this is about. It's about FSU thinking they'll just plug in another great QB just like that... and that Smith will fall for that promise of another great QB landing in Talllacrappy. He is more likely to come to Gainesville than flip to FSU, IMHO. I know where you stand on this... we shall see.
Yeah....Rodemaker has been a nice backup for Travis. Just wonder if he can be the guy....especially given the huge amount of guys they will be replacing on offense
