Biden just made a speech saying that if re-elected he planned to redistribute the wealth in America so that everyone has the same anmount and will offer no cost but mandatory classes to educate those who disagree and planned to install loyalists throughput government to make sure this goes smoothly.

Trump has power and as a former President, and likely R candidate again, everything he says is history. I'm a nobody. Trump calling me vermin, like Hitler calling my dead European relatives calling them vermin, is historic. It's dangerous. Trump is dangerous. I don't want the US to fall into a Fascist country where I'm considered vermin because of my political or my religious beliefs. So I do what I can to prevent this.

Nazi is quite the insult. And in this case, 100% accurate. Calling your domestic enemies vermin comes right from Mein Kampf. I ask again, how am I supposed to feel when Trump calls me vermin? How would you feel?

 

If Trump called me vermin I could not care less. I have no feelings about words, especially coming from someone who is irrelevant to me.

As for the “larger podium” argument you are trying to hide behind, I find that argument specious. Thinking and speaking the words you protest is the wrongful conduct. Hearing the words isn’t. You are attacking the speaker, and the mindset behind the words….the audience is innocent and irrelevant.

Trump is not irrelevant to me. Neither is Hitler. One called my ancestors vermin in his attempt to become a world leader. The other called me vermin in his attempt to become a world leader.

And my pulpit size argument isn't specious. I have no bully pulpit. I cannot spur thousands to act on my behalf. I have no cult of personality with full arenas hanging on my every word. Trump does.

When he speaks, not only do his masses listen. They have in the past acted. Like on Jan 6. I could never move that many people to congregate, let alone act.

When someone like Trump calls his domestic enemies vermin, it's no different than when Hitler or Mussolini did the same decades ago. How did that end up for Germany and Italy respectively? I don't want to see how it ends with Trump in power again.

But….you and others here have so much hate for a man who you have never met and who has done nothing to cause you harm.
