I think these would have happened even if we won…

napier needs to ask a silent commit to go public to fight the perception battle…it’s part of a coaches job.

There were several commits that were surprising. Three happened back to back to back. Amaris, Nasir and Chiles ...

I think the staff knew it was going to be a battle to keep those three b/c it seems like their decision was based on emotion and having a great visit.

As for W. Mack. Very similar situation. Heck, a bunch of us thought he was an LSU lean and then he pulled the trigger for UF.

You can probably add Amir to this list too.

These are all stud players and there was no way other schools were going to stop recruiting them just b/c they committed to UF. Unfortunately our season has not helped keep them committed.

I still think we get a few flips in our favor.

I think when all is said and done we'll still finish with a top 15 class, maybe even top 10.

 

We will be fine. Billy and team are working non stop at talent acquisition. I think we all are going to be surprised at how are Portal goes this year too and I mean that in a good way for our Gators!!

 

I don’t know where we will finish but top 15 won’t be good enough. Finishing 15th means you are in the bottom half of the SEC in recruiting, because the SEC will be 75% of the top 15. I think all of Dan Mullen’s classes at Florida were top 15 and a couple top 10. That wasn’t good enough to be where we want to be.

 

Are you trolling? Half of dans classes didn’t even show up and this has been noted sooo many times you have to be trolling trying to compare the two..good grief

 

We aren't going to be competitive in this league until we are consistently recruiting in the top 5, year over year.

How am I trolling? Get a grip. I said Dan Mullen’s recruiting wasn’t good enough. Even if they all did show up, it still wasn’t good enough. Top 15 is bottom half of the SEC. We need top 5 recruiting finishes to compete year in and year out. Napier has us in the top 5 currently. His recruiting is the only thing our fan base has to hold onto right now.

 

Most fans don't know one recruit's name.

 

Again... we are young, and have many key injuries. That is why we lost one or two game we should have won.
