Why is it that we're the only program who can't sell winning when we're winning? All of a sudden FSU is number 3 in recruiting over a good but overrated year considering their lack of tough opponents. Norvell isn't a special coach, the stars just seemed to align this year, but he's actually trying to take advantage of that. Imagine that. Smh. This program makes me want to pull my hair out.
Literally only Mullen couldn’t sell winning when we were winning and he got fired over it. What more do you want?
A time machine to chew out Mullen for committing malpractice of the highest order in running a program which I was too blinded to see because he gave us offense and brought the fun back between 2018 and 2020. But I know I'm not getting that. If Mullen just put in the effort and put winning above misplaced loyalty, he'd still be the head coach. And that just drives me crazy. He's the only head coach since Urban who didn't look in over his head. Jury's still out on Napier, but it's going to be an uphill climb from here. He's going to have to keep recruiting and pray that sooner or later his efforts will be rewarded... and that's without even getting into things like playcalling or special teams issues.
yea i think we will go portal on the OL. I would hope it’s for a #1 WR and bring in 3 high quality starters on the OL.
if we have a brand new 5 on the OL next season, I don’t think anyone would bat an eye. Need Kearney and Harris to win the guard spots, portal for the top center in the country, pay whatever Seaton wants and make him a starter the moment pen hits paper, and let Waites and Barber go at it for the RT job. And I say this even if the interior starters on the 2023 team returns next year (Mazza, Leonard, Kingsley). There jobs shouldn’t be guaranteed
You said it Bobby, agree with you 100% Love to grab an Edge too. Gotta find a rush next year. The DL from Ivy League would be a nice pick up.
