This is already getting blamed on negative fans - which is ridiculous. The big question about CBN’s “strip it all down and rebuild” philosophy has been - can get buy in and can you get recruits if you’re losing. Looks like we are starting to see that rear it’s ugly head
Im guessing its Meaning,.it somehow came out of surprise as most had thought he was always Texas bound prior to his commit to us.

This always makes me laugh. The only time "valuable post season practice time" means anything is if your team is playing on New Year's Day. Going 6-6 and getting an early December bowl means nothing for practice time. Players are disinterested, tired and hurting from nagging injuries. They have finals and want to go home to see family.
Well I know nothing about recruiting, but when he committed there several posters in the know who were surprised and almost made it seem like this was temporary. Maybe I misunderstood some posts, but he was a guy I didn't expect in the class based on what I heard when he committed.
I can attest that this is a fact. And, in all reality...let's see how the players in CFB handle playing 14, 15 & 16 games. The new playoff system might turn out to be brutal!
A not so gentle reminder that the same rules apply in Awesome Recruiting. May be more important in some regards than Swamp Gas. Bashing will result in worse consequences. Disappointment is normal. Many don't know the recruit(s) or how strong their commitments were in the first place. I suggest asking @bobbybaker86 or @shane4three or one of the other regulars who follow recruiting very closely. They will know. Don't rely on 247 or Off3. Florida is VERY close to turning a corner. If you guys knew some of the things I can't write here you wouldn't despair as much.
Coach runs a tight ship and wants information out when he wants it out. Also, things anyone else tells me privately stay that way. I only wrote what I did to help some approaching the cliff. It has been a tough 2-weeks.
There is difference between fans being unhappy about losses but being optimistic vs fans looking for potential HC replacement. I think the latter in a 2nd year of a coaches tenure reflects badly on the fan base. I personally wish some of these fans stop posting if they cannot help the cause.
Exactly this, the place to show frustration is in the game thread. Let’s be positive or at least neutral until early signing day at least.
Extreme reaction begets extreme reaction from others resulting in heating up the situation further. The fan base will be portrayed as calling for the coaches job thereby resulting in creating social media pressure and making recruits think of other options. If the fan base realizes that nothing is going to change with respect to Napier in 2023/24 then they should atleast hope he can bring in recruits. As a fan I want to help that cause..
