It's not accurate. I was mistaken. The more accurate percentage is about 30% thrown behind the LOS.

I don't care who our new offensive coordinator is, if we get one. If we keep playing defense like we do now, it won't matter at all.

I apologize that my comment got your undies up into between your buttocks. I was not correcting you. Just supplying content that other posters may not be aware of. Please note that I said I agreed with you.

I am not a big fan of Napier relying on the lateral passing game. I am surprised that the opposing teams have not altered to pass rush by putting a defender or two in that passing lane and getting a quick 6 pick.

There really isn't any gushing over the completion percentage. Just people who think they have some sort of insight by noting that we complete a lot of short passes.

How about Keep Napier as play caller but hire Sam Pittman as OL/OC. Then use the extra position to hire RON FRIGGIN ZOOK as special teams/what ever gimmick recruiting title they can think of.

Also if they fire Dave Aranda definitely make him say no and fire Armstrong

Jeff brohm louisville, HC/OC, he has improved Western Kentucky, Purdue (beat Ohio St), this is we want to see fun exciting football. * this is if we want real change. Billy needs to release himself from the offense and defense, add in special teams. Just recruiting coordinator, if not his run won’t be long. I don’t see Florida changing their stripes, we are the old school very mannered let coaches over-stay their welcome.

On what planet? Last few games we've put up 38, 41, 20 (UGA), 36, 35 points with a weak OL. Muschampball? Be serious.

This is our theme almost every game. Wait till we get behind 10-14 points then urgency slowly sets in. don’t forget the three drives before were mostly runs TOP style allowing our defense to stay on the field and get rolled.
Our offense should be aggressive from the start of any game, taking shots passing early and often, then mixing it up gains allows for our running game to prosper. Now, if we are up around 10 points, you can get a little run heavy, but good field position also we should take shots to score, not first down run, second down run, now third and long pray for a pass completion while you are allowing the defense to blitz and wreck havoc, of course no first down, no scoring and getting your defense worn down.
Now our defense doesn’t have Dan Quinn at the helm, so we play deep zone defense getting both long passes and runs with ease. We need to be aggressive on defense, but this game in the first half, we did and got some good results. When we didn’t, you guessed it, long runs and passes. Second half we just kept playing a deep zone and not getting enough men up near the line of scrimmage. This defense with our conservative offense, unless two tds behind, is losing football over and over again.

I was thinking along those same lines. But then I realized those high scores were put up against 4 terrible defenses: Vandy, USC(e), Arky, and LSU.

    Muschampball might be kinda accurate.

are any of the gazillion people we already have on staff experienced enough for a promotion to OC?
