Mertz has a boatload of talent and one of the best completion percentages in the country.

The right play (quick slant to a tight end) would get us a first down and some breathing room. Hell...we had all 3 time outs.....and were trailing our opponent.

We should have tried to get a score there......

 

Certainly having trouble with running QBs last two games.

 

The fact we are only down 3 with the stat lines at half is actually incredible. With no context if all you saw was

Pleased with the tenacity the boys are showing tonight. Defense has done enough to keep us in the game. Offense needs to put together some scoring drives to make the leprechaun uncomfortable- let him make some big mistakes he always does.

 

Hanging in there. Now let's see which coach makes the better halftime adjustments.

 

I like that we are competing-no matter what the final outcome-glad our players haven't given up ...no matter what some fans and media boys say-they are out there trying-proud of our boys!
