On3 has been pushing the Jamonta Waller flip as a strong possibly for over a week now. Any recruit can absolutely flip at any time before signing. But seeking reliable reporting from a cottage industry that's based on "news" that hasn't happened yet seems a bit futile to me - especially coming from those guys. And TBH, the FSU homer on the Hi-top sports podcast that generated this latest round of angst is probably the best source of actual insight on that crew. Jamonta may flip, although I really hope not. But if he does, it won't be because On3 actually knew what the hell they're talking about.

 

I think if he was/is gonna flip, it will happen this week. If we make it through this week and it doesn’t happen, i think we’re good.

 

I hope our checkbook game is strong.

 

Love the film on this kid, his motor is impressive, and UF needs quickness on the edge.

I like a lot of the content they put out, but man the clickbait is strong with that channel. They put “BREAKING” in the title even though nothing has even happened. He might flip, but being on flip watch for the past 2 weeks is not breaking news.

FSU just picked up a commitment from Jamari Howard. That should help us out with Ward right?

 

I feel good about Filsaime. It is just a feeling. We got to get one more win though.

On3 has been known to push a story that ends up not happening too. Now, Waller going to Auburn wouldn’t be such a shocker, anyone jumping wouldn’t shock me, just remember they’re not always right.

 

That video needs a seizure warning. Good lord that was painful to watch.

 

Ward is solid. Kids HS season are coming to an end more now with playoffs time now and UF doesn’t have a home game so that plays a part in kids taking visits elsewhere

We could lose Waller to Auburn??? How?
Williams and Johnson would be huge losses especially after losing Boireau - I know different positions but all monster areas of need. And I’m quite sure he’s not going to go into the portal and pull a Norvell off.

recruits notice and don’t agree with that. Takes 3 to 4 years to win they want to play for teams that are playing in big bowl games

 

How could we lose anyone to Auburn. I thought Walker to UCF was bad but that was a year ago and this is supposed to be Billy strong suit. If he’s not going to bring home a top five class what is there then?

 

yea at this point we seem to be waiting for Waller to go public with his flip. Weird that it would be to Auburn, but whatever. I can stomach losing him (Waller), but if we lose Nasir and Amaris, then it’s panic time.

 

Yeah, because at that point it is portal time and again until he proves otherwise Billy is not a big time portal guy for sure.
