Joe Brady was never the OC at LSU.

Stephen Orr Spurrier, AKA, HEAD BALL COACH.... Just for one year...

As a fan, we can Dream Big, right?

Or, maybe the new OC can go to Spurriers restaurant and spend some time in the bathroom... If you know, you know....

I was purely going off how they were listed on the UF site by position.
I know some LB do play edge at times.

The question is what will fans think about the hire Half happy, half pissed off. It will likely be someone with a similar philosophy.

I’m with you. It was a very good hire for us at the time. And Weiss parlayed his one year as UF OC into another head coaching gig.

I could be wrong, but CBN strikes me as the type of guy who wants to make it through the season and then do serious team evaluation and self-evaluation. Based on where we are today if he doesn't see the need for this then my respect for him and my loyalty and belief he is going to a great coach for us long-term will seriously undermined.

I share this expectation....a competently coached team that looks to be improving. We've seen flashes of improvement. But the problem is the lack of consistency and the "amateur hour" coaching mistakes which are embarrassing. Can't believe CBN will tolerate that long-term. If he does he shouldn't be our Coach.

So we will now have a multitude of -1 yard screens to choose from on 3rd and 12…just great.

I don't think his offense is horrible, it's just not explosive enough. I also think he doesn't have a great in game feel. I think an OC can help there. We shall see

Perhaps you could start a thread about those subjects. Just a thought.

I read an article last night that said (if I remember correctly) 68% of UF's pass completions this year were thrown behind the LOS. That's an astounding number.

That's disgusting. I do think the weak OL and Mertz limit the deep pass.

    A little off-topic, but...

Why is a thrown ball caught behind the LOS counted as a completed forward pass?

If I had to guess I'd say it's because the pass was, in fact, thrown forward. Same reason it counts as an incompletion if dropped instead of a fumble

Because it is a forward pass, the QB is deeper and tge ball is moving forward and is caught behind the Los

Did anyone already toss out Kerwin?

I vote Ciatrick (C4) FTW ;), he's doing a great job right now.
