Need the vomit Emoji at Jimbo being OC. Rather deal with Lame Kitten as HBC

Many teams have 3 star and below OL talent and have highly effective and potent offenses because they have a coordinator who has his crap together and they scheme to fit what they have. There are plenty of ways to design an offense when you don't have Bama level talent on the OL. You just have to recognize what you have and scheme for that rather than scheme to what you want to be but aren't (channeling my inner Mark Twain).

It’s a quick fix to load up from the portal but cohesion is just as important as talent. Urbs evidently held the plane when he was here and told em with us or leave now. Some left then and there but that has to happen or you have shoe throwers. Siler would have shoved that shoe up his ass and Mullen left him on the field. Napier is establishing buy in from these kids. They know where the door is and who their brothers are.

Mullen left no lbs. We have three very good ones in this class. Best lb class in the nation. Holding on to them will be hard. Every team wants all of them.

And all of them are established with kids that have been in the system. Dion threw a portal class together and they may have the talent but it’ll take 2-3 years to get them to play like Utah

    Ok. I thought about it.

But instead, I think I'll get a colonoscopy and root canal in the same day.

So we had no Linebackers under Mullen?
How many left when he was canned?
We had 14 LB per the 2021 roster
    Burney-Sr
    DiAbate- Left..
    Moon
    Reese
    Wingo
    Scooby Williams- still here
    Hopper-left
    Black-Jr
    Brunson
    Borders
    Keeter
    Powell-Ryland- Left?
    Summerall-
    Meeks

Many left when Mullen was canned a few were Sr’s, but many were underclassmen. So to say we had none under Mullen is really inaccurate.

Most of those guys are at smaller schools and not doing shit. There’s a couple that are doing well.

But we had 14 on scholly and some were pretty damn good. So saying he left no LB is really over stating it.

Hopper is really the only one that has eligibility that I wish stayed. Lots of dead weight there and many graduated. Not many draft picks there.

Isn’t that basically happened with Jimbo and Bowden? I seem to remember Jimbo basically taking over the team.

Not all those names were on scholarship and several are actually DE. And some of the LB were never going to play at UF level.

Majority of these guys are labeled as LBs but we’re not actually LBs. Most were turned into LBs because we were so thin.

Diabate is pretty darn good IMHo.

Right now we need some bodies if draft picks is the only criteria for how good players are we have a real problem.

Well that’s partly true and often teams move guys around based on scheme. A guy may play Edge in HS but is better at LB in college and visa versa.

I was purely listing who was on the roster in Mullen’s last year to refute the claim that he “left none”.

Now if the claim was he left no All SEC round one NFL LB there might be a bit more credence to that even though Burney was pretty good, Williams is pretty good now, Summerall was pretty good and left. That’s just of the top of my head.

It’s way better than what has been done in the last two years.
Prove I’m wrong with facts not feeling.

We got 1 in Napiers first class and 1 last year, that’s crushing it.

I think this along with being bogged down in analytics may be the crux of the problem. No FEEL for the game. What’s that famous line about GW Bush? “I’m steadfast. I believe the same thing Wednesday as I did on Monday no matter what happened on Tuesday”
Nothing should be above adjustments when it comes to losing
