yeah he appears to be in his own head a little too much tonight, probably trying to live up to the preseason hype. Just needs to settle in and stop trying to make everything happen on his own.

Amazing start, good overall first half. The 30 allowed points had about 10 or so at least that were just mental errors. Would like to see them enforce their will in the second though.
Good half. I like Samuel's game. Also, it looks like @murphree_hall might be right about Clayton. Made some nice plays as the point. Condon is a really nice surprise as well.
I've never really like his body language. I could be completely misreading it, but he looks like someone who is thinking about how he looks on the court and not intensely focused on the task at hand, like kind of aloof. Just the way he kind of floats around, disengaged at times, makes me think that, but I could be wrong.
After our 16-0 start, they outscored us the rest of the way. 8 assists, 8 turnovers, 3 blocks, 7 steals, 14 fast break points, 10-17 from the free throw line, 4-11 shooting 3's, 52% overall. I like the number of good big men this year, although Castleton will be impossible to replace as an individual player. We lost our intensity and defensive focus a few times, but overall a pretty impressive first half.
I'm impressed by that first half, honestly. We will have some issues the first game of the season. We've had too many years in a row where we go into the half up two against a team we should beat easily.
