Pillar of Fire: “Massive Strike” Against Russian Ammunition Depots and Aircraft (msn.com)

Massive strike on military targets in the occupied Siedove in Ukraine, right on the border with Russia. Directly east of the occupied Mariupol. Reports indicate that both Russian ammunition depots and aircraft were hit.” He does not provide detailed information on the author of the attack or the specific damages. An attached video shows an explosion that can be seen and heard, followed by flames rising into the air like a pillar.

It's another reason not to let belligerent countries get away with invading neighbors based on ancient claims of ownership. It becomes contagious.

Ukrainians are not too concerned about North Korean artillery shells, based on previous performance. They believe only 4% of them will function properly.

Don’t be concerned over one million artillery shells North Korea sent Russia, only 4% are in working condition – Dykyi (yahoo.com)

Ukrainian officers are complaining that NK shells are quieter and give them no warning.

Must be all photoshopped. The Black Sea Fleet is completely invulnerable to Ukrainian ordnance.

... because it's increasingly on the seafloor, safe from Ukrainian missile strikes.

Interesting footage. That ship was tougher than I expected taking a third missile to finish it.

Russians invent advanced "coral formation" disguise for ship. Ukraine not suspect a thing.

I didn’t realize how crewman have better survivability in Western tanks. There was similar feedback regarding Bradley’s.

“When a lucky Russian infantryman wielding a rocket-propelled grenade hit a Ukrainian Leopard 2A6 on its thin side armor, damaging the engine and sparking a diesel fire that eventually fried the tank, it seems no ammunition cooked off. All four crew escaped.

For a crew to survive the loss of its tank isn’t just a relief to the crew. In surviving, the crew preserves its training and experience. That’s a boon to the whole army.

Hit an M-1 in the ammo, and the secondary explosion vents out and up—and away from the turret’s interior. That makes the M-1 the most survivable tank in the world for its crew.”

Why does the U.S. want Zelensky to negotiate ?

If you allow Ukraine to keep fighting in this increasingly diminished state, you risk Russia achieving a decisive, total victory wherein Russia will assume full control over Ukraine, its resources, etc., and will take control of all the sought-after regions like Odessa and Kharkov. This would be an incalculable boost to Russia’s power.

For U.S. planners, it’s much better to cut their losses and freeze this thing at a point where the U.S. can still retain control over a fairly dangerous Ukrainian rump-state that can be parasitized to continue wounding, destabilizing, and fencing in Russia perennially.
