His comments are brutal. The process is flawed. To me "the process" is a shield he uses to fend off criticism.

 

I will say this. That was a major shot to everyone in the room when he pointed and thanked the guy at the end for asking a question about LSU…..instead of asking about what happened against Arkansas, basically every other question before that. He’s got to expect people want hear about what happened in that game Sat. If the PC was allowed to go on a bit longer, I’m sure there would’ve been more questions about the upcoming LSU game. It was short, by design.

 

Maybe if he had provided real answers in the Saturday PC there would be less questions about it now...

LSU has had the upper hand on us since Urban left but the games are typical 10 points or less so I can see us making this a game or upsetting them.

Night road game, better hope the bright lights aren’t too big for them

 

The process is his plan to rebuild our team. You won't know if it's flawed until 2 years from now. Not every successful coach turns around the program in year 2.. Some do, some don't.

Norvell was 5-7 in year 2.. Dabo was 6-7 in year 3. You can pile on as our team is struggling, however this is a long term rebuild and will take some time.

 

The Gators were favored in 1960 in Baton Rouge. On the 1st play from scrimmage, Florida QB Larry Libertore ran for a 66 yard TD. Throughout the rest of the 1st half, Florida's off. stalled and Lsu QB Jimmy Field effectively moved the ball, using plays from his wristband. But in the second qtr, with Lsu up 10-7, the Gators sent a 9 man blitz against Fields. He never saw it coming, and a sea of Gators piled on top of him. When he came out of the mess of bodies, his play calling wristband was gone. The Gators then held Field to just 12 yards passing in the 2nd half, with a lone 1st down. The Gators came back to win 13-10. After the game a Gator coach gave the wristband to a official, saying one of his players found it on the field.

 

Even if they already know he can’t play, this will be kept in limbo as long as possible to force us to practice for a running QB. Kinda like “Cam Rising will be a game time decision.” I guess we’ll see…
