He could have been transgender or just a cross dresser or got off on a dressing like a woman. It's somewhat ironic that the sin of adultery is more acceptable to conservative Christians than is cross dressing although the former is expressly by prohibited by the Ten Commands while the latter is only addressed in a few biblical verses. In any event his death is a tragedy. Condolences to his family.

 

Comment: churches should not be tolerant of adultery. But it must be said that the sin of adultery doesn’t have a PR department.

It's more so because the sin of adultery is frequently committed by normal heterosexual males in positions of power.

If he did he obviously didn't consider the consequences. I find it hard to believe that he intentionally put the photos on a social media site viewable by the general public. Most likely he sent them via email to a person or people that he thought could be trusted or posted them a social media site which he thought was not accessible by the general public e.g. an Instagram account designated as "private". Kind of reminds me of naive teens (usually girls) sending explicit photos using their smart phones to a person or persons that they thought that they could trust.

A friend told me once that a lot of regular people upload pictures of themselves on reddit in the nude or worse. A lot of those people leave their faces out of the pictures, my friend says.

 

I still find it difficult to believe that he posted the pics on Reddit. They were most likely reposted on that platform by someone that he thought he could trust. You're correct regarding users intentionally posting explicit pictures of themselves on the Reddit platform although again I find it extremely difficult to believe that he was one of them.
