So is our safety depth. The good news is we have so many talented DL we can let a starter eat his way out of the rotation.

Need to improve everywhere. Play calling, special teams, both lines...
BN needs an offensive coordinator , special teams coach and linemen.Always a Gator [class of '65] and know Billy will make us better (see class of 2024) but major changes needed asap.

Well said. And vice versa applies - the results prove that we don’t have elite coaching. I think he is here until 2025 - if he can hold on to the class. I pray he can turn this thing around.

    In my head--- UF
Sunday morning. Watching bit of the replay.

Jefferson could have run more and the score may not have been as close.17 for 92, but 55 yards were on his last TD.

The defense looked gassed. Scooby looked like he was out of several plays when no one touched him.

Arky on kickoff receptions (eye test ) where I saw, 6 row 49 yl- looked so much bigger than UF.

    ok, onward v LSU

Watching the later games, our lack of speed and power really jumps out at you. Also noted when Nuss jr went in for one play, they had him throw it, albeit sideways.

“What’s Florida’s identity? What are the Gators actually good at?…..”

The author was right about something else, if you looked close at ULL there were things there that were a harbinger of what we see now. When he was announced as the new Gators coach I watched a couple of his games I developed an opinion that hasn’t changed.

Napier HAS shown himself to be a game changer though, he changed the game yesterday for sure a number of times.

I was a student at UF when Donovan was hired. At the time, he was a young but highly regarded coach from the Rick Pitino coaching tree, dummy. The current guy was on NOBODY's radar until Stricklin pulled his name out of a hat.

Lowest point of the Napier era this morning for me.

Gator Nation is in an absolute tizzy.

UF continues to start games slowly, running game and offensive line is disappointing, defense continues its 4 year trend of being awful.

First half we got to the Arkansas QB, not so the second half, no answers for his legs. I attribute it to lack of depth?

Special teams is a broken record. Unreal that the first kick our FG kicker (Smack) actually missed (the other was a block) was for a game winner. Of course he missed.

I'm stunned that Billy let's a player make the ST calls late in a do or die situation?

Well results are not automatic, that's why they play the games, but it does not look promising.

Unless LSUs QB is out, I see little chance to win at Red Stick.

Mizzou in the cold on the road? Very doubtful.

    FSU, .......their just unbeaten.

It's just hard to see much hope for the remainder of the season.

It will be very ugly for CBN should UF finish 0 - 5.

I hate it. Not calling for any head coaching change but if this seasons trend continues Billy may only get next season to turn it around and that schedule is daunting.

This is not true. Napier’s name was always mentioned the 3 years leading up to our hiring of him as a potential P5 head coach when any vacancy was out there. Donovan wasn’t highly regarded after leading Marshall to 3rd in the MAC North and no NCAA invite in ‘96 (the year we hired him).

This isn't directed at you and more a generality but why did we hire AA then?
He brought more energy? Well he's 29 years old. Id rather see a proven track record.
Given last nine years why hire someone with zero DC P5 experience?
