Post-Game Discussion: Arkansas at FLORIDA

I thought Arky was spent after we tied the game up at 14-14.

 

Etienne took a bad cut and left us with a 3rd and medium vice 3rd and short.

 

Just read on Twitter...it's the fans fault.

USC fired DC and Arkansas fired OC midway through the season, just saying

 

Need an OC, ST coach and a single Oline coach.

 

I guess the one thing that we can sell to recruits is the availability of immediate playing time. But if I'm an offensive recruit, I don't see a scheme that excites me a lot. If I'm a defensive player, maybe I feel like I can compete with current players.

 

If we score again they probably are, we left them hang around.

 

Basics ….are terrible. Billy will not have one winning season here at Florida. The schedule is brutal next year. Billy will get all 5 years and he will not have a single season with a winning record.

 

"We" (meaning most of the people here on this board) really do not have any say in the matter.

Our patience likewise isn't going to change things one way or the other.

Kirby was one play away from winning the NC in his 2nd year.

 

The better team won today. I was hoping pride and the obvious fact this was our chance at 6 wins would create more intensity.

exactly. We keep touting our youth not realizing we’re STILL going to be young next year. We can’t expect every true freshmen/sophomore aka Napier recruits to just ALLLLL magically make a leap this offseason into next season. Need some PRODUCTIVE/PROVEN 4th and/or 5th year portal kids on the roster next year especially in the trenches.

screw it, i’ll say it…58, 67, 65 and 76 on the OL are not starting OL’s on a championship winning/contending team. Hell none of our OL would start on UK’s OL. They aren’t good and on the DL, our DT’s are not DT’s that have shown us anything to suggest they will be leaps and bounds better in 2024.

IMO, since we love to use UGA as the standard we’re chasing, there isn’t more than 4 of our starters on both sides of the ball that could compete for a starting job at UGA. Mertz, EW3, Pearsall, Princely, Shamar and THAT’S IT

 

Another noon game, another sleepwalk out of the tunnel. Spotting them a 14-0 lead sure made the task more difficult.

 

I don’t see that Smart and Napier are the same. I knew Smarts name. Never heard of Napier.

 

He did, but USCe had a lot more patience with SOS than we do with any coach not named SOS...
