Yeah, the team could be a lot better by then but still look bad.

Worst danger is if it adversely affects recruiting, then the death spiral begins.

 

Clemson won a big game today and without Shipley too. Maybe if get Tyler from Ocala to call and piss of Napier we can win another one before the season ends!

When is the next coach's show?

 

It's like back a number of years ago when we had a finesse team and then got trucked by a far more physical team that was at .500. We just aren't that big or strong. I like our running backs but they aren't bruisers who extend the play 4 or 5 yards after contact. I lost count how many times that got tackled at the point of initial contact and watching Arkansas drive for 4 or 5 yards after contact.

 

The OT sequence was a ball buster. Came out typical very predictable on offense, 3 plays and then a fg. Arkansas gets called for holding on first down, backs them up to the 35 and 1/20. Then they truck UF on just a handful of plays, TD, ballgame. smh!

 

if we expect that again we really are living in a fantasy world. Long gone are the days of Spurrier and Meyer

 

That would be a nice change of pace.

 

This to me is the biggest problem on our defense. It's like they get to the ball carrier without understanding that they have to tackle him. Soft.

 

Tragic but true, with the chances of finishing 4-8 this year...

 

at what point do top recruits say wow FL has had 3 losing seasons, maybe I need to look elsewhere? I was really hoping 7-5 this season to show some progress.

On a side note, I like the sentiment and all but I hated the black uniforms without the names, maybe more time should have been spent prepping the team instead of this uniform change?

 

Things have changed with the transfer portal. The top guys are not gonna stick around after multiple losing seasons or stick around for the next coach to do another rebuild.

 

this was a game that Cam Carroll woul have been perfect for. But since he’s out, this was a game that Webb should of gotten carries

You gotta wonder what impact NIL contributions can be. I’d imagine it’s not huge at this point, but people eventually start to lose a little faith if all the off the field improvements don’t translate on the field. Lose out

Our program has been completely neutered. I’d say we are a shell of what we once were, but we aren’t even that.

Bad coaching decisions, bad scheme, poor gameday attitude and execution, comical excuses, etc. Just a complete mess outside of recruiting.

Maybe the worst part is watching from the stands and being just numb to it all.
