Lost by one score in OT is not "kicked us around like we were a high school team." Try again.

You all acted surprised. I said Arkansas had the advantage in OT because of the 25 yd line. They are one of the best red zone offenses in the country, they just don't get enough of them. It's because of their physicality and KJ's dual threat. For us, we are on of the worst RZ offenses in the country - we like it from further out. Then not having a HR threat is what doomed us. We played OT for the FG hoping to stop Arkansas or force them to kick the tying FG to send it into the 2nd OT where we would be on defense first.

If it had been a routine spike and then the kicking team calmly walked out for the try, he would have made it. No doubt in my mind.

Unfortunately, Armstrong didn’t adjust in the 2nd half when KJ started running straight up the middle. Where was the MLB or SS? It continued into OT unabated

He is going to get all of next season, and start the following one.

But he is going to spend that entire time looking at an abyss.

I mean, this is really all that needs to be said. We're not very good. And almost every single playmaker on the team is in their first or second year. There are clearly things Billy needs to address in the off-season, but 2024 will say a lot more about his future here than 2023.

Good thing they want to rip out seats, only way they will still be able to sell the place out.

The turn your back completely to the defense PA, that always results in a free runner and Mertz rolling right for his life was literally the most “Billy” way possible to start the overtime…. Only thing more. Characteristic would have been a blown up WR screen for negative yardage ….

Billy keeps going like this and he won't get the opportunity to see the fruits of his recruiting labors. He needs an oc next year to have a chance to coach DJ Lagway. Otherwise, a new coach has a chance to win a championship with Billy's recruits.

I’m so confused. We had a perfect opportunity to win that game with the refs on our side. What happened?
