    Think I’m still pissed cause I picked Arky. It was like watching keystone cops for most of the game. Arky offense was offensive. Austin might get a false sense of security watching that one.

    I think Pittman just retires when that time comes honestly. He was close to it at Georgia. I don’t see him going back to being a position coach

    The guy we’ve been starting probably looks better in practice than he’s been looking in games.

    I wouldn’t be disappointed if he was on UF staff.

    Possibly all our lineman on both sides of the ball look better in practice than games as they are “playing up to their competition”? In other words, they look great until they come up against polished/experienced linemen like Georgia, Kentucky etc…:eek:

    I know this is asked in jest by you, but why does that position(s)/player(s) get more leeway than other positions when the performance on the field doesn’t hold up?

    Same with the CB positions…..

    Our FG kicker wasn’t cutting it and he was replaced with Trey Smack but those positions i mentioned earlier continue to put bad plays (from what we see) on film but yet they continue to get loooong leashes

    then that is a bigger issue because they brought those guys in and aren’t developing them be ready to compete.

    it was the same under Mullen with #56 at RT in 2019 and 2020 and certain players in the secondary during those years too. Hope the staff doesn’t fall into that same trap of being stubborn to the point of no return

    I know that Arkansas is 0-5 in the swamp, but Bobby Petrino nearly had our number in 2009. That was the closest they came to winning in the Swamp. Anything can happen in this crazy game. I remember that game everything went wrong for us. We were ranked number 1 and played like an unranked team. We gave up 6 sacks and 4 turnovers. Tebow had one last drive that went 69 yards and with 9 seconds left our field goal broke the tie to win it. Yes, Arkansas can be dangerous if you don't take them seriously. If we do take them seriously, we win going away. If we underestimate them, we could be in for another 2009 fight.

    I guess that’s it, but we haven’t seen much of the other players at that position in the games though. practice>games

    That 2009 team went 8-5 and was 8 points away from 10-3 though. This Arkansas team will be lucky to go 4-8.

    I like noon game later in the season. You get a little more precious sunlight in the afternoon to do things outside and it frees up the evening to do anything other than watch the Gator game, unless you DVR it. Plus, the way the team has played over the last decade I'd rather not finish the evening that way. They could lose to The Hogs.

    OK. Let's hear it for the military... Go Army, Go Navy, Go Air force, Go Marines, Go Coast Guard! Beat the bad guys!

    Being a six point favorite is kind of scary. I would think we'd be favored by double that at home. Then again, consistency hasn't cemented itself just yet in Gator town, hence, the doubt.

    I hope we pummel the bloody hell out of them. Gators need to be awake early, kick some serious Hog Arse and move the heck on...

    Go Gators.:eek::p:D

    I fear that you are right on this one. Hate those early starts because the kids often aren’t quite awake that early. Hope to coach and get them fired up though. Gonna need this win.

    I think Billy knows the importance of this game and will communicate that effectively to all the team. This is a critical game, and I think everybody knows it.
