Sounds like they are just spiteful or greedy, because the law doesn't even take effect until next year

 

Cool, I don't care if calorie bomb garbage burritos cost more, especially Chipotle, one of the more evil corporations out there. Glad someone is finally reigning them in. If they can afford to pay all the fines for their violation of laws without raising prices (not to mention all the times they poisoned people), then this is just a PR stunt IMO.

Corporations kill jobs all the time even when they control the labor market, so what else is new.

 

Seems like it would be helpful to compare various states. For example, has there been an analysis of potential price increases in Florida resulting from the minimum wage amendment that Florida voters approved?

 

I forget.. do you guys want more people looking for jobs so wages dont go up or dont you? Changes from article to article. The way this works is if you think prices are too high then dont buy it. Geez.

Why would places follow a bad model that caused California to go broke? Which hasnt happened yet as it remains the 5th largest economy in the world. They have been very successful doing it the way they are doing it.
