Twitter in its old form was a great way for people to get real time information about what was going on in the world (unless you intentionally chose the disinformation sources). That's why the international criminal oligarchs like MBS needed it to be destroyed and Musk was their tool to do so.
NY Times posted Israel bombed a Hospital. Israel did not bomb a hospital. This makes the post false, also known as a lie. It makes no difference that the NYT attributed the lie to a terrorist. The NYT still posted it. If you live in a world that you feel the need to defend the lie, then I have genuine pity for you.
This might be my cynicism running amok right now, but the world is being conned by Musk and his assassination loving Saudi prince, and every venture capitalist tech bro billionaire in between. I shuddered my twitter accounts, but this was before Musk took over. It was already bad enough despite there also being some positive aspects such as getting real time info. But it was also info overload. I have a love-hate relationship with social media (even GC).
That’s not true…. Their original article on the hospital bombing was something like, “Hundreds dead after hospital strike, says Palestine”…. You are telling lies just so you can claim the NYT lies…
exactly. like it or not, the media often depends simply on what someone tells them. in this case, NYT, BBC, Reuters, AP and other reputable media outlets published stories quoting Hamas officials blaming Israel for the bombing. All should have obviously waited to hear the Israeli side of it before publishing. They messed up. That does not mean all they all lied.
While the headline was still deceptive and I'm not defending it, this is the actual headline and note the qualifier "Palestinians Say". If the headline didn't include the qualifier it would have been a lie. With the qualifying phrase it's a poor choice of words but still accurate. Deceptive, poor journalism and beneath what the newspaper should have published but not a lie. Had the reporters known that the damage was from a rocket fired by Islamic Jihad and still published the headline it would been a lie.
I wonder what the Elon Musk fanboys have to say on this one: BTW, the initial post was in response to somebody criticizing the phrase "Hitler was Right."
Musk seems to be going down a dark path. Interesting that he even wanted to be an American given our diversity and given some of the crap he says and supports.

Somewhat ironic considering that Hamas apologists on the left have framed the war as "neocolonialist" repression of "people of color" (Palestinians) by White people (Israeli Jews).
I am anti Hamas but pro Palestinians. I am not sure if Israel is doing the right thing here but I also don’t know if there is a right thing they can try.
