The attack was designed to kill the terrorists and collapsed the tunnels under the camp where the terrorists were. The collapse of the tunnels contributed to the collapse of the structures above it.

Commander of Hamas Central Jabaliya Battalion eliminated

Biari was one of the leaders responsible for sending “Nukbha” terrorist operatives to Israel to carry out the murderous terror attack on October 7th. Numerous Hamas terrorists were hit in the strike.

Biari oversaw all military operations in the northern Gaza Strip since the IDF entered. He was also responsible for sending the terrorists who carried out the 2004 terrorist attack in the Ashdod Port in which 13 Israelis were murdered, and was responsible for directing rocket fire at Israel, and advancing numerous attacks against the IDF, over the last two decades.

As a result of the strike, a large number of terrorists who were with Biari were killed. Underground terror infrastructure embedded beneath the buildings, used by the terrorists, also collapsed after the strike.

The IDF reiterated its call to the residents of the area to move south for their safety.

    Bush was wrong.

Nevertheless, Hamas is the governing body of Gaza. It chose to torture, decapitate and kill 1400 civilians and non-combatants.

And then to hide in their terrorist tunnels underneath the refugee camp.

It has decided to expose the civilian population of Gaza to warfare against it. Hamas bears responsibility.

And the tweet is a lie. 50 terrorists killed and terror tunnels destroyed.

Plan B for Hamas is for the Jew haters of the world to post tweets like this and spread them.

To blame Jews for defending themselves.

Because that is what happens when you destroy an enemy bunker system.

I guess we have to let the facts come out. On the one hand, I understand Israel’s right to take out targets like this with civilian collateral damage, but I doubt it is in their best interests long term to do so. Win the battle lose the war. You just aren’t going to keep many friends if you are blowing away civilians.

There doesn’t have to be a rush. Take your time. Do it surgically. Easier said than done I am sure.

I think what’s different this time are the terrorist attacks that preceded the bombs. You cut a bunch of babies heads off and here we are.

Not exactly the strong statement from a powerful independent voice that post tries to portray it as.

Mokhiber has been doing things like accusing Israel of genocide, calling for a one-state-solution that eliminates Israel, and making annual social media posts lamenting the anniversary of the nakba for essentially as long as he’s had social media. He has also refused to condemn Ahmadinejad’s UN speeches questioning the existence of the Holocaust and calling for the elimination of Israel.

Effectively he used a “resignation letter” to put something on UN letterhead calling for the complete destruction of the Israeli state.

Surgically? How? We’re they going to move the City? The tunnels were underneath the refugee camp. Israel is never going to win hearts and minds. This is part of the Hamas way. Hide behind civilians and then wave the bodies around and accuse Israel of war crimes and atrocities.

I kinda disagree on the no need to rush part. I think it’s just a matter of time before Israel exhausts their goodwill with the global community with regards to civilian deaths accrued while hunting Hamas. I kinda think they should just go hard in the paint while they can. Make hay while the sun is shining.

Israel is pissing off more and more countries as they continue to blast away civilians. This is going to breed nothing more than an increase of Palestinian hatred towards Israel by destroying entire Palestinian families. I remember when the media was all over Obama doing a couple hundred civilians were killed from drone strikes in Syria

you’re not wrong but I don’t see anyway they can’t retaliate just as they are. If the US had been attacked like Israel was we’d be doing the same damn thing. It’s terrible but it is what it is.

They are not retaliating. They took out a military target today. A tunnel complex that was a terrorist base.

They are not blasting away at civilians. IDF spokesman in CNN today said that the bomb was targeted between buildings. But because if the underground tunnel complex, the surrounding buildings also collapsed. If there were not tunnels there, the bomb would not have been dropped. The anger at Israel is for dropping the bomb. It should be directed at the folks that put the terrorist base underground.

Maybe this comparison will help understand what’s going on:

Imagine putting another 700,000 people within the city limits of Philadelphia proper.

Now take that population-boosted (by a factor of about 1.5x) City of Philly, and go fight a war there.

That’s essentially what Israel is currently having to do (Philly and Gaza’s land areas are nearly identical - within one square mile of each other - while Gaza’s population is around 2.2 million and Philly’s is around 1.5 million).

As that comparison ought to make clear, it’s not really possible to completely avoid civilians in that kind of situation, and only becomes that much harder when the adversary is intentionally trying to maximize the number of civilians around every target of military value.

Hamas claims 6,747. So fewer than that. But a lot of people. And a lot of them children.

Too many. Unfortunately, Hamas chose to wage a war and hide underneath a city filled with civilians. Wha this your solution that allows Israel to live safely without Hamas rule on Gaza? How do you get rid of them when they hide behind human shields?
