Maybe you had that subliminal push you needed

 

Some solid scores this week. You guys are not making it easy to pull away from the pack. Gonna have to bring my A game each week just to avoid being past up on the leader board.

 

I actually just figured Arizona was due a "W". Looking at their last few games they've played really well. Blew out Wash st last week, lost by 2 to USCw the week before that in a game that totaled 84 points and lost by a TD to Washington the week before that. I just felt they were due some good MOJO.

 

Yeah. I did a little research on that game and had Arizona taking it but better picks with less risk out there than picking the underdog to knock off #11. Kudos to you. And then you have a team in UCF that drops an ugly deuce. Thought when they played Ok tough they might be ok. Guess we see Ok really ain’t all that either.

 

UCF screwed me last week in both pick'em games by keeping it close and not allowing OK to cover the spread and then this week they screwed me because I chose them to win and well......they just SUCK.

 

UCF is the most erratic team so far this year. I thought they might do well after that Oklahoma game too, but I also thought Oklahoma was living on borrowed time. So I never fell for UCFs chances against WV.

Oregon State hurt a lot of us this week: including me.

 

The two stinkers that hurt most were either Oregon St or UCF. Most of the rest were easy. Almost impossible to get less than 6-8 points.

 

Wanne. I can almost see you standing there with 5 shrimps in ur hand and an old fella telling you you got enough for a shrimp cocktail.

 

Shoulda known not to pick ucf. Cost me a perfect week. But 14 aint too bad.

It’s possibly quite telling about who I am that most of my movie references would come from Forrest Gump and Major League.

 

One of these days it’s all gonna work out and I’m gonna get all 5 right. Probly take Monday off and celebrate.
