I don’t think there is anything the Israelis can do to permanently stop terrorists in Palestine from attacking them.

Russia claims that Ukraine incited the "anti-Jewish rioters" in Dagestan. As a side note, I thought it was interesting that Rep. Crenshaw had never heard of Dagestan. I think I only know it due to following MMA, but I'm also not sitting on intelligence committees.

Regional head promises ‘no forgiveness’ for anti-Jewish rioters

Russian authorities won’t let anti-Jewish rioters in the southern region of Dagestan get away with taking part in an illegal and violent rally, the region’s head, Sergey Melikov, has claimed, denouncing the unrest as a “betrayal.”

Melikov spoke to reporters on Monday about the rally at Makhachkala Airport late on Sunday during which protestors, many of whom were holding Palestinian flags, broke into the facility and blocked the runways as they tried to board planes in search of Israeli passengers who they believed were fleeing the conflict with Hamas.

The regional head stressed that local law enforcement had managed to bring the situation under control, vowing that all those responsible for the unrest would be held accountable, and “there will be no forgiveness for anyone.”

According to Melikov, the “attempts to destabilize the situation in Dagestan” by inciting ethnic and religious division were “carried out by our enemies.” He explained that the calls to join the illegal protests were being spread by Ukrainian nationalists.

So why would anyone agree to a ceasefire with them? Will they all of a sudden be reasonable when Israel agrees to put there guns down? Sure, let’s trust them then, what could go wrong?

The reality of war is that a lot of good people-- men women and children-- die. Including civilians.

On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan attacked military targets. FDR called it "A day that will live in infamy."

On Simchat Torah, Hamas tortured, slaughtered and kidnapped more than 1000 civilians. On purpose.

While Japan was planning and executing its attack, the Germans were engaged in systematic genocide. After Neville Chamberlin had negotiated lasting peace by agreeing to German annexation of a portion of another sovereign nation.

Japan is now a democratic, pro-west nation.

Germany is a democratic member of NATO.

    Nazis are fringe groups now.

its not just Anti-Semitism on the left.

    https://www.adl.org/resources/blog/...ts-spurs-antisemitism-and-conspiracies-online

Nathan Damigo, the founder of the now defunct which supremacist group Identity Evropa, wrote on his Telegram channel, “From the river to the sea Palestine will be free!” and “Hamas really took #BantheADL to the next level.” Meanwhile, a leader of the white supremacist New Jersey European Heritage Association complained that the attack will result in “a new batch of migrants coming to America. Privileged supremacist Jews fleeing chaos they provoked like the cowardly rats they are. They will immediately jump to the head of the line.”

Jon Minadeo, the leader of the antisemitic Goyim Defense League (GDL), posted on Gab “PALESTINIANS ARE KILLING THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN. God bless these brave men of Palestine.” While GDL supporters in the network’s telegram channel noted their happiness with posts such as, “Woke up to kikes in Israel getting their comeuppance. Life is good.” and “What a wonderful Shabbot [sic] today goys!”

White supremacist Nick Fuentes pushed this narrative on Telegram, writing that Israel’s intelligence failure “is a little suspicious in light of how the Likud government will benefit politically from this crisis both domestically and internationally.”

On X, a popular antisemitic influencer who goes by Lucas Gage posted several antisemitic and anti-Zionist conspiratorial claims. In one post, he alleged that Israel does not deserve sympathy because it helped coordinate the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a common antisemitic conspiracy theory. In another post, Gage blamed "our Zionist Occupied Govt," an antisemitic reference to the U.S. government.

    https://www.adl.org/resources/blog/...s-applaud-hamas-and-violence-against-israelis

On October 8, white supremacist Matthew Parrott, co-founder of the now defunct Traditionalist Worker Party, posted a Substack article, “Party’s Over: Free Palestine” in which he argued that the attack on Israel was not unprovoked. “Breaking out of a concentration camp to attack your guards is the very opposite of ‘unprovoked,’ he wrote, continuing, “I stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. It’s one struggle. Jews are welcome to join in too, on the precondition that they cease and desist their genocidal campaigns. Free Palestine.”

Christopher Pohlhaus, leader of the neo-Nazi Blood Tribe took to Telegram October 8 writing, “Thoroughly enjoying the show in Israel over the past days.” A staunch supporter of Ukraine, whose fighters he describes as “our racial Brothers,” Pohlhaus expressed irritation over the “immediate bipartisan support and action” for Israel compared to “almost complete republican [sic] opposition” for Ukrainian aid. Also on October 8, the neo-Nazi group Natsoc Florida posted an image of an apparently freshly screen-printed “Fuck Israel” t-shirt with the caption, “I've been cranking these out all day. The Israeli people deserve zero sympathy. Fuck Israel. They deserve everything that is happening to them right now. I sincerely hope that Hezbollah and the Taliban are able to make it to the fight."

On October 8, a group of individuals associated with the white supremacist White Lives Matter California posted an image of themselves on Telegram holding a “No More Wars for Israel” banner.

Tried to bold or repeat 3rd from last sentence. Couldn’t figure out how. Wanted to repeat it and say that the supreme emperor of Japan saw the futility of a faulty policy (with inherent religious association and lust for power) and surrendered to end WWII. We can only hope Hamas might see the futility in their current situation. Don’t mean to imply the nuke potential, just that near obliteration is a real possibility in this case via conventional means.

We use smoke testing on sewer collection systems to identify illegal connections or broken pipes. Found a few car washes that had hooked their storm drains to the sanitary sewer system. We didn't bomb them though.

Yep. The use of smoke to find illicit underground conduits, whether to hide and move terrorists or to catch ne’r do well developers, can be a good tool.

I suspect that part of all negotiations involves at least Hamas leadership being gone. It feels like Iran wants to give them up if they can figure out a way

How realistic of a fantasy is some special ops taking out Hamas leadership is Qatar? If it can be done I hope it happens.

That’s probably the province of intelligence services, not special forces. Which is to say, if it happens that’s an assassination-type op because presumably no one is either landing a blacked-out helicopter full of elite troops in Doha to grab them or blowing them up in Qatari territory with a drone.
